I dropped my car off for repair, and while the work completed was fine, two pairs of sunglasses, a Mike's car wash coupon booklet ($64 value), cologne, and even Clorox wipes were stolen from my driver's side door. When I called and left a message, I could not get a return phone call until I called over a week later and asked to speak to the GM. Eventually, I was called back, but NOTHING has been done. Horrible customer service! No follow up! No one ever calls you back and their word means nothing! Three different dates and times for a 3 day job and they missed each and every one! NEVER EVER bring your car here! What was to be a 3 day job ended up being two weeks. Telling me the insurance company should have called me. I could rate this body shop a negative and no star I would. They're not professional, they give you the run around on when they think your vehicle will be ready, they dont work in a timely manner, say one thing and then a few days later say something else. They're Horrible. My vehicle has been there over a month and we keep getting the scrappy end of the stick as to why my vehicle is not ready. I wouldn't waste my time sending your vehicle their tow it somewhere else and support a small business with your insurance claim or not. Out right ridiculous and terrible! read more

Unfortunately, I've had the need for a body shop on average about once a year since moving to Cincinnati. (For the record, only one of those times was my fault!) Since I use Jake Sweeney Jeep/Chrysler to get my car serviced, I figured I would use Jake Sweeney Body Shop to get it fixed. Someone once told me that they're not really affiliated, but it still made sense in my head. Anyway, the guys at JSB are really nice, and they've always done good work on my car. They have a partnership of sorts with Enterprise, so getting a rental while mine's in the shop has always been easy. JSB is pretty good at handling the details and letting me know what I need - estimates, timing, insurance correspondence, etc. - and they always make me feel at ease, even when I'm asking questions that are probably super basic (i.e., dumb) to them. They recently moved locations - from Wyoming/Hartwell to Springdale/Tri-County - which is less convenient for me, but I'm not going to change body shops because these guys definitely have my trust. Also, in fairness, the new location is bigger, brighter, and more professional-seeming than their previous one. And now they use an Enterprise next door instead of down the street. read more

I am very disappointed with Jake Sweeney's body shop service. I brought my car there on September 24 to Jeff Haussler after a car crash that was not my fault. It is November 11 and Jeff inform me after I had to call him as I rarely get an update. That car part will not arrive until November 19 and my car might not be ready until after Thanksgiving. Almost two months without a car spending over 1,000 dollars on Uber rides and takeout. Every time I call they lie to me and tell me the car is going to be ready for a specific date and then make excuses as to why it's not. Last time they told me that they order the wrong car part making me wait even longer. They have not even offered me a rental and they even dare to tell me to call a random person that I do not know to " pressure him to get my car ready" that is not my job I left the car to Jeff and he should be the one to " pressure them". At this point, I'm about to call the news, take this to my lawyer, and do anything in my power to get my car back. Their unprofessionalism almost cost my spouse's job as we did not have any transportation to go back to our jobs as theirs rarely was any uber or Lyft in our area. Thankfully we are working from home now and we can save some money now. I have no family here so their nobody to help us go grocery shopping or take us to any appointments we have. I understand that they might be working slower due to covid-19 but it's been 48 days that I am without a car and probably it's going to be 66 days with the pace they are going. PLEASE Do not take your car here or buy anything here their lack of professionalism is unreal and their service is even worse. read more

Don't take your business here. They will take a week to fix an issue, tell you its fixed on the phone... You will come up and pay the bill only to discover that the car still doesn't run. They are in it to get your money and that is it. Avoid like the plague. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Unfortunately Jake Sweeney BMW gave me their number and it reflected poorly on them as well. Upon entering and requesting an estimate, they asked me was what insurance company I was putting my claim through and the second thing the guy said was "I hope you brought your checkbook". Totally unprofessional. I was given two separate estimates, each one in the $1000 range. Couldn't understand why they were so close in cost when one needed a substantial amt more work. Upon going over to BMW for servicing and mentioning what happened, BMW buffed out the one door in less than 2 minutes and recommended Dent Wizard try the other door. Long story but in the end the $2000 estimate from JS Body Shop cost me a total of $65 elsewhere and the car looks great! BEWARE! read more

The work they did was excellent. Like new in fact. This body shop has special equipment from BMW in Germany to properly repair their vehicles. I have nothing against third-party repair shops. In fact I am sure most do a good job. Depending on your damage, you may need the use of the special equipment to fix you vehicle properly. Most of us consumers just don't know. BMW's suspensions are tuned a little differently than most. Anyway, I was skeptical and pleasantly surprised at how good the fix was. Feels an looks great. read more

No one likes to deal with car problems, then have to fight with mechanics about what is actually wrong with their car and the price. However, I have taken my Chevy HHR to Jake Sweeney for the past 2 years. Now, HHR's are known for having many issues, to where the car should be recalled. This has yet to happen, so deal with constant service appointments. The service consultants know that the HHR has its issues and the cost of fixing it is no picnic. They are very flexible and helpful with the issues. I don't blindly accept anything that anyone tells me. I do research before allowing them to work on my car, compare prices and look at industry standards. Jake Sweeney is always at the most common price on the market. The service consultants are also make sure to let me know what needs fixed and how long I can wait to actually fix the problem. So in essence, if your car needs fixed by a dealer (HHR) take it to Jake. read more
