I used this company to remove a large tree with the agreement that he will remove the…read moretop branches for 1800.00 (which I paid him in cash), and he would come back to remove the bottom part of the tree for $500.00 with stump grinding a month later ( bc we needed to save up for the additional cost). When I called him the month later to come back he's said his stump grinding machine broke, I tried him again now a month later and he's now saying he never said that and they don't do stump grinding. Now I'm stuck with a remaining large bottom tree that he won't come back to finish the job. I don't recommend this company at ALL! He's a liar and only trying to make a dollar from hard working people. It's sad we live in a world where people just take advantage of customers who do a verbal agreement. My fault for trusting him but I want to share to warn innocent people to avoid them going through this issue. Please stay away there are other more reliable tree companies out there who will be honest and do the full work! They did a phenomenal job. First, the arborist came and walked the property with me assessing each tree and determining what needed to be done. Then they scheduled according to my days off. Next, the team arrived, on time, at 8 am today. Their crew lead walked the property with me to ensure that what was on the quote was still what I wanted. Then they went directly to work. WOW! A well-oiled machine. Periodically the crew lead would ask me to look at one thing or another and tell them what I would prefer. And then the cleanup. Amazing. Raked almost my entire yard of all oak leaves. Blew off the roof, driveway, sidewalk, back patio. They even took the dead palm fronds from my other plants! I should add that the cost was lower than I had anticipated by several hundred dollars based on other estimates.

Ryan easily accommodated a mid-job request to add the removal of an additional limb. The site was left clean, neat & free of debris. I had an Aborist determine the cost of the damage and it was starting at a minimum of $30,000. I have sent a demand notice to them for Compensation and they rejected the certified letter. They claim to have insurance but have not filed a claim. They have been avoiding us. So at some point now we will have to take legal action to collect for damages. We are retired, and rely on the fruit trees we have on our property. We sell the fruit (organic avg. $2.50 ea.) This helps pay taxes and other expenses. If I was looking for a tree service, I would read my complaint a couple times before you hire anyone. Take this all in for consideration.

They successfully downed a huge tree and plenty of palms on my property. I have a couple regrets…read morethough: - They didn't get the suckers (tiny branches on limbs) on my trees. - They cut down limbs on top of my roof with nothing protecting the roof underneath. Chainsaw-to-limb-to-shingles. They bent an exhaust pipe on my roof. As far as I know, they didn't cut into the roof, but they didn't take precautions. - They tore up my yard with their skid steer and crushed irrigation pipes. It was healthy before and now it's a mud pit. Fine, grass can come back, but prepare yourself for a messed up yard. - The stumps were left tall with jagged breaks, so if you have kids, it will be dangerous for them. There were straight-up wooden swords on the stumps. When I called to ask them to come back out to help me out with some of the things above, they ghosted me. For the amount of money I paid (more than $5k) I expect safety and professionalism. Look, they're good at their job (downing trees), but if you want good service, you might check elsewhere first.
