Before I shopped here I thought they were just cousins of Walmart, but now I know that they are higher quality and provide a larger selection. I also found some really cute tassel earrings on SALE for $6.00 (what a bargain)! Cashier was nice, and at the end of the check out, the monitor asked if the store was clean. It only took them 5 to 10 minutes to makes my 12" Roast Beef Grinder to go. It was ready when I got there. $15.11 out to the door. The Grinder tasted close to a Mancinos one. It wasn't bad. I'm sure it would taste even better had I been out on the lake all day. Next time I will have to try one of their pizzas. So far the food is better than their Root Beer stand in town.

Jacks is a great place for a great selection of meat (where you can actually talk to the people who are cutting it). I love the ability to pick up fresh produce locally without driving 20 minutes to another town. (They also carry vegetables grown by local growers). Jack's stocks the Union City Rotary's maple syrup and they offer a selection of food, toiletries, paper products and pets products that many small town grocery stores do not.
