History
Established in 2018.
Fernando Ayala and David Arce founded Jalisco Trip Tours to create unique experiences and innovative tours in the market.
After the founders worked as local guides and tour operators for more than 7 years for other local companies, they decided to undertake and invite a group of hosts and regional experts to be part of the project.
We designed itineraries focused on local culture and gastronomy so you can live an immersive experience with the local community, avoiding crowds and exploring the authentic. Each tour is an exclusive adventure that shows you what few others see.
From walking tours with a local expert, and group tours with private transportation, to a pottery workshop where you can make your clay crafts and professional drink tastings.
Meet the Business Owner: Fernando A.
I was born in Ensenada, Baja California, a small fishing town in northern Mexico, near the border with the United States.
Due to the cultural diversity in my hometown, I am passionate about the beach, seafood, and local and foreign sports such as football, baseball, basketball, and volleyball.
I am a regular reader of Mexican literature and history, and a passionate taster of tequila, mezcal, pulque, and other agave distillates.
In 2008, I moved to Guadalajara, the land of Tequila, Mariachi, and beautiful people. While studying at the University of Guadalajara, I began working as a bilingual tour guide in the tourism industry.
Since then, I have had the opportunity to share the culture of Jalisco with people from all over the world by visiting its towns and attractions.
As a tour guide and sociologist, I value cultural exchange. I love transmitting the culture and history of my country to those who show interest.
