I reviewed this gym on the facebook page also but see it was removed by the owner (which whats the…read morepoint of having a review if you can't take the constructive honest criticism also?) so I thought I would copy and paste it to where Melissa the owner isn't able to do so... I hesitated to write a review and opted not to until I saw this randomly pop up on my facebook sponsored column...I noticed it only had two reviews with one being the owners, Melissa, so I am deciding to give an honest review with hopes it helps encourage others to do a bit of gym research before signing up. We have sent my son and daughter here when they were two and my daughter is now six and we have recently left this gym. We were never super happy about this facility and honestly thought of leaving several times with other girls that had joined and left throughout the sessions. We decided to stay because it literally is right down the street from where we live and also it's a bit cheaper than other gyms. It was frustrating the continuous lack of organization but bearable since my child was two, three, four, and five. Recently the owners invited our daughter to move up. I disagreed with it but with my husband and my daughter along with coaches encouraging her to move to compete...I was out numbered. I wanted my daughter to be happy. At first they helped a ton. More than I could have asked. That was for a total of probably two weeks. Then I felt they just left her off the radar and weren't teaching or even helping her at all. That was frustrating because now no longer was my daughter not having fun with her friends, she was now just being left to do whatever on her own while the coaches helped others get ready for tournaments. I felt it was poor timing to bring her up. All of this is not why I am rating this gym a one though. What you need to know is that since this we searched four other gyms and found a better fit for us. This gym is filthy. It's very dirty. The owners don't communicate well at all. They do not act like owners and if you need to get in contact with them it's a small chance they will get back to you through email or phone call. Also, the owner Melissa did talk poorly about another student and her mother to us, which I happen to be friends with. I don't think she knew that though. I think as an owner you should not be talking about your clients, and should be a good example for your teenage girls and coaching staff for being professional. Another problem was when you sign up for rec classes, the consistency of coaches is bon existent. Very rare did my daughter gave the same coach for a whole session. Also my daughter would have practice at 4:15. I would drive frantically to get there on time and would often times be sitting in the car waiting for the coaches to arrive. The owners are always late! So we would sit in the car with my crying baby waiting for the doors to be opened. Lastly, I never complained but was irritated, we paid about 200 to have an hour and a half birthday party there. When we arrived the upstairs where they left us it was filthy dirty, the party tables and chairs weren't set up, and they had toys all over the place which I had to clean up. One of the kids brought a younger sibling and they also charged us for her above and beyond. I get that it's an extra person but was kind of surprised since we have been paying year round since my daughter was two and now turned six. We were very frustrated by the end and after touring and trying out at the other gyms we realized this place was ridiculous which is such a bummer because we now drive 30 minutes out of our way and pay 40 more a month. I guess you get what you pay for.
