Their return policy is not listed anywhere I could find. She said it is posted in the store & not her fault their phone doesn't work, that they don't list their return policy online & not sure what I expect her to do. I just wanted store credit for an item only costing $18, they would be getting a pricier item back. She refused & I asked her to call the owner & she sd no answer. I will never shop there again. So rude! Who asks for a receipt when receiving a gift? I don't & have never had a problem returning a Xmas gift for store credit B4 in my life. Designed for a boat, and built to withstand the rain forest that we live in, it's permanently parked on our back deck, without a cover, and still looks great (no rust, no corrosion) and works like a charm. Even the ignitor still lights, unlike the ones on the crappy BBQ's from Cdn. Tire that fail within months. Recently, we discovered a small hole in the burner, but it's guaranteed for 10 years, and I had the receipt, so Kerrisdale Lumber had a brand new one delivered from Jackson in a couple of days. No charge. This BBQ will never see a landfill, unlike the cheaper brands you see elsewhere. Excellent value. Plus they're made right here in beautiful BC, not China.

Not saying that Daiso merchandise is low class (don't get me wrong), but this store seems to focus on more "expensive" items at a naturally higher price point. For example, they sell LED lamps and Bluetooth speakers. This place does not try to be a dollar store. Many items are in the $15-30 range, which is actually quite reasonable. Their product selection is surprisingly well designed. Nothing in the store looked or felt "cheap" to me. This is worth a special mention. Most of their products seem to be designed in Japan but manufactured in China. Nothing with with that, but just a heads up for those who are picky about this.
