I went to the doctors office located next door to Lens Crafters before trying on glasses! I'm quite satisfied with my eye care from Dr. Freeman, she's pretty cool. She listened with thoughtfulness in regards to my concerns about the recent change in my vision. I've used all the Drs in this practice since the early 90's. She twiked my prescription from my previous visit. She explained every step. It was foreign, to my ears, but magic for my eyes. Thus far, Dr. Freeman and Dr. Williams are my favorites! I don't have vision care under my insurance plan. Gotta say they worked additional ways for me to receive a discount. I received $11.00 bucks off. Not much, however, with crappy insurance every penny saved is of importance. All worth it since I only do the vision check every two years. I love my eyes and they are priceless! With dilation, Dr Freeman was able to see freckles and bear paw tracks located on the back of my eyes. Nothing cancerous. Dr Freeman explained to me that certain "freckles" located in the back of the eye can become cancerous. Thank God mine are not that type. This additional payment of $39.00, gave me reassurance that my eyes are in great health! She was able to compare previous photos of my eye with the new ones for a in depth assessment. Talk about Incompetent Staff. My friend had made an appointment for Sunday afternoon, filled out the online paperwork etc and showed up for the appointment. Upon announcing for the appointment she was told she didnt qualify for new glasses till October. The desk help was told that special arrangements had been made thru the insurance comany due to lost lenses. She said she just got off the phone with the insurer and they said no glasses till october. She was ask to call back and assured her it was a missunderstanding. Linda then REFUSED! to call for what would have been a short straightening out of the situation. Wow, they must have too much business. Hope the Doctor sees this review and takes action. read more

I come here all the time when it gets to the point where my eye strains and am forced to get new prescription and glasses. Dr Nwachukwu is a very nice lady. She will take the time with you when you sit down with her to get that vision corrected. I know because my wife took 3 times as long as me to decide if this lens was more clear then that lens... you know what mean?!?! The office staff is nice. I forgot my insurance but they knew that I was still with the same company and so took care of it all for me. Easy to get an appointment too. read more

I saw Dr. NWachukwu, She was so kind, helpful & very professional. I haven't worn contacts in both eyes for years because I have so much trouble getting in & out. She told me that she would give me the extended ware contacts & when it was time to change them out that she would be glad to do it for me. at no charge. The doctor here has always been very nice, but the receptionist is quite the opposite. She had a bad attitude and was very sarcastic with me for no reason. I simply set an appointment at the wrong location and she made me feel like I put her out drastically and purposely made me feel like I wasn't wanted there. Well, fine. Definitely never thought I'd be so comfortable in contacts before, the staff was very friendly and patient with me when I was trying very hard to put on my contacts for the first time. Great place for an optometrists! This is the second year in a row that we've gone for eye exams and received excellent treatment. Easy appointment scheduling, friendly staff plus a clean and sterile environment. No pressure for non essential expenses like other eye doctor offices tried before we found Dr. Williams. We were told our eyes hadn't changed much and didn't need new glasses unless we wanted to buy another pair, and was given prescriptions if we chose to get new glasses. read more

I have never been to an eye exam where the staff was so friendly and professional!! The front office was so accommodating to me. They made sure I understood how my insurance applied and kept everything transparent. Dr. Williams is the friendliest and funniest optometrist I have ever met!! He made sure I was comfortable both in the waiting room and during the exam and was thorough in explaining what each test was for and what my prescription meant. I made an appointment the same day that I needed one. I had lost my glasses and needed them to drive. I was blessed to see Dr. Nwachukwu who is a very thorough Doctor and also a wonderful person. Great chair side manner! There is NOT ONE THING INCOMPETENT ABOUT THE ENTIRE OFFICE STAFF. Dr. N is a very good doctor, the best one that I have ever had. Thank you, Dr. N for your input about the fact that my numbers were low(nothing to freak out about) for possible future glacoma, but, something to keep an eye on and add supplements. This was my first visit and the beginning of the meaning my eyes have been opened! The location of the office was very nice, right next to shopping and dining. Lens crafters was right next door and I was escorted by the doctor after the completion of the examination to ensure the proper type of lenses would be available. The staff was very courteous and professional. I felt welcome when I opened the door. I was impressed with all the latest equipment and scans. Dr. Williams was very easy to understand and made me feel important and cared about the well being of my health in general. I wish the VA was able to get such equipment for veterans to be examined to help other veterans see better, like Dr. Williams and his staff helped me.
