A couple of weeks later, I received a text saying they were ready for pickup. When I arrived, only one pair was actually available. I left and waited another two weeks before following up. On a Friday, I called and was told no one was available, but someone would call me back on Monday with an update. Monday came and went--no call by 2:00 p.m. I called again and was placed on hold until the call dropped. I tried again, was promised a callback "right away," and waited 45 minutes with no response. Frustrated, I called a third time and requested a refund. Once more, I was told someone would call me back. Eventually, I did get a call: they had the lenses but not the frames. Then they offered a similar style in black--I agreed to proceed. Later, another call came saying the frames weren't black after all, but grey. At this point, I was so fed up I just told them to use the grey ones. I'm finally supposed to pick them up tomorrow... I hope. After all this hassle, endless waiting, broken promises, and terrible communication, I seriously doubt I'll ever return.

Perspective Eye Care had excellent reviews on Yelp and Google and when I called to make an appointment they got me right in. They made it really easy and smooth to have an exam and let me know I wouldn't need to get my eyes dilated, which was important since I needed to drive myself after the appointment. I was greeted with friendly smiles and was seen at my appointment time. Dr Gonzales was so kind and did a thorough job of examining my eyes, answering all my questions and explaining her findings. Confirming my need for reading glasses I was extremely pleased to find they have a store on-site! I was able to peruse all the glasses they had in store while they processed my insurance coverage for lenses. I really appreciate how he makes sure my frames fit well. Not everyone in the office is the kind and helpful. And one time, my family member passed away and I ended up being 7 minutes late to my appointment. They treated me so mean. I was nearly in tears but they berated me for being late. She listened with thoughtfulness in regards to my concerns about the recent change in my vision. I've used all the Drs in this practice since the early 90's. She twiked my prescription from my previous visit. She explained every step. It was foreign, to my ears, but magic for my eyes. Thus far, Dr. Freeman and Dr. Williams are my favorites! I don't have vision care under my insurance plan. Gotta say they worked additional ways for me to receive a discount. I received $11.00 bucks off. Not much, however, with crappy insurance every penny saved is of importance. All worth it since I only do the vision check every two years. I love my eyes and they are priceless! With dilation, Dr Freeman was able to see freckles and bear paw tracks located on the back of my eyes. Nothing cancerous. Dr Freeman explained to me that certain "freckles" located in the back of the eye can become cancerous. Thank God mine are not that type. This additional payment of $39.00, gave me reassurance that my eyes are in great health! She was able to compare previous photos of my eye with the new ones for a in depth assessment.
