In Febuary of 2013 while my wife was in the hospital I took in our X G 300 for a complete Tune up, upon getting the car back, he said the flow valve wasn't needed on the car. The car started running horribly and we talked with service writers from other dealership mechanics and they said it was important to have the flow valve. we took it back to Rick and he said cause it was an 2001 it would eat oil and smoke would automatically come out of the engine. The vehicle only has 116000 odometer and pattersons said these cars with regular tune ups and oil changes should run for at least 150000 before needing any major repairs. because of the flow valve our engine is blown! Rick admitted to me he shouldn't have done the work to the car but hasn't offered a refund of any type! Becreful when you take your car in to this shop. Also took my truck (black)here (did them both at the same time) and they swirled my truck as well. I went based on a reference and thought Id be in good hands. They dont know what they are doing. They need more experience. The original ownership was much better. The original owner was a coach at Ryder High School, but sold the business to these new guys. This happened in 1/2021. I didnt notice the damage to my car at first because it was on the passenger side. But took it to another detailer (who ended up being the original owner) and he pointed out the damage to me before he serviced my car. They burnet the finish off. Car only has 40K miles.
