GET A SECOND OPINION before you choose this butcher

These hacks are still in business? How???. ****READ THIS*** before you take your car here. Yes lazlo, I haven't forgotten about you. I was on my way to Dallas when my battery died on my daughters car. So I left the car with these shysters and there began a deceptive plan to claim the car had all sorts of un-needed repairs. Now the car did have an issue with the fuel pump and was running on limp mode. But I read their reviews on these guys and felt I could, I give them a shot. After they fixed my battery, I asked them to see if they can improve my cars HPFP issue. They said the issues were some vacuum lines and quoted me $700. I called 3 weeks later to see if I can pick up the car and the Lazso's mechanic told me it was gonna be 1300 dollars instead of the initial quote. RED FLAG! I declined and I told him not to worry, I will pick it up. ANOTHER 2 days later this mechanic calls me and tries to tell me that rats have eaten up my wires by the engine and even sent me a pic of what looked more like a the a nasa lunar landing. I asked him how much to fix and he stated some outrageous price and that was red flag 2 and I was done with this shop. So, I prepared to go pick up my car 3 hours away and sure enough.. the mechanic calls me up and tells me my radiator has holes in it and it he greatly advise me to fix it. I knew then this scam artist was just trying one last hustle. I declined and headed on a saturday to pick up my car. Why? because my car had just had the radiator replaced in earlier spring.! When I get there to pic up car only Laszo was there. so pay the remaining balance and now and asks me to wait by the side his shop as gets my car. Then Laszlo.. the BUFFOON of an owner comes around the building with one leg sticking out and at a 10 mile and hour roll and shifts my gears in to park while the car is rolling. The gears grinder hard and there I began realizing this guy is trying to ruin my car so he can keep it and charge me. My mechanic said it seemed okay but to let him know if there are issues.. well last week my car has started having some kind of parking issue and I bet it is because of his parking job he did on my daughters car IMO, they seem to be misrepresents themselves as company on the facebook by filling their garage with exotic cars. The only car I saw on that property was some JANKY Range rover and a domestic car. Their facebook has pictures of race cars in a garage but that is a race event, not their shop and I refuse to believe that owners of those super cars in his shop are there for major work. Back home in vegas, people who own ferrari's don't take their cars their to those kind of dumps. I feel sorry for the cars really in his garage really. If you have a German car, please make sure you get another quote before from another shop before handing ur car to these butchers. I mean really Who pulls up in a car with one leg sticking out and then try slam it into park??? Lastly, to add insult to injury, as I was leaving I asked him if my recently expired tag would cost me a huge fine and he said that I need to be careful because his high way is a drug gate way from mexico so if I have anything that I better be careful. Literally insinuating that I am a drug courier because I am of hispanic decent. FYI.. am a software dev and could probably teach him the fundamentals of object oriented programming for his german car before he learns how to be a pro mechanic. business and skills and a Horrible HACK mechanic !!!! On to the next board to warn others!

Lazlo was recommended to us and we ended up spending the night in town so we could try and get our car fixed the next day.

This shop has had my vehicle in their shop for almost 40 days now and just finished it today Nov. 14. On Oct. 7th my car was sent to their shop to replace the wheel bearing. There were no issues, the job was done in a timely manner and out by the 10th. I had my vehicle back for maybe an hour before I decided to shop for groceries. I don't even get a mile from my house before the car breaks down. I didn't want the car going back to them after that because something didn't feel right but my husband had other ideas. He sent it back to their shop. The carrier bearing and rear differential needed to replace and it'll cost us a little over $1,000. Them and my husband made a verbal agreement that they will accept installment payments for the labor. Parts were around $800 and because we didn't have that we had to have my mother in law loan us money when she got paid on Oct. 17th or 18th. Payday rolls around and she pays for the parts. They send off for the parts and that is where all the problems begin. From that day until Wednesday Nov. 13th they made up so many excuses to not have the vehicle done. "Parts are taking longer than expected to ship." "Parts were shipped to the wrong address." "The mechanic dropped the part causing it to break." "We don't have enough people to work on it today." "The part was faulty." "The bolt we need off is welded on so we need to grind it off." They did offer a refund around Nov. 4th which my husband denied because we couldn't find any other mechanics to have it done in a timely manner and they said they can have it done that week (they didn't.) After that my husband asked for a refund and they "couldn't." During all of this my husband had to use taxis, ask favors from friends and family and even walk 4hrs to get to and from his job which he ended up losing on a very heavy rainy day. He couldn't walk the 4hrs to work, nobody could give him a ride and we had just spent what little money we had in a taxi the day before. All because they wanted to take about 40 days to fix parts that only take 5-6 hours. "Coincidentally," when I called them this morning (Nov. 14th) to have them bring it back to us they could have it done in a couple hours. Surprisingly, they actually had it fixed! It just needed a new battery now. I called them to check on the progress and that's when I was told about the battery. They asked about the battery having a warranty or not so I yelled at my husband, "Does that damn battery have a fucking warranty? They want to know cuz now the fucking battery is dead!" He yells back, "Yes it does!" So, I turn back to my phone to answer her bitch ass and all I get is her yelling at me and telling me not to cuss or yell AT HER! I told her I didn't and that I'll cuss or yell at whoever the fuck I want and she has the fucking nerve to hang up on me. So, I call back and cuss at whoever the fuck it was who answered the phone, they handed it off to her and she tried to get smart. I didn't start cussing or yelling at anyone until I was accused of it and hung up on. So, because she "Doesn't like hearing yelling or cussing in the background even if it isn't directed at me" the verbal agreement was broke. Now, I can't get my damn car back without paying the $750 up front because her poor virgin ears were hurt. Great way to handle business isn't it? There is absolutely nothing good I can say about this shop and it has so many good reviews, I wonder why?

Having gone to a large corporate location thinking it would be the only place that could check and…read morerepair my brakes same day, I received an estimate to replace my rotors and brake pads for over $400, being told both were completely worn and dangerous. I started looking for who else I could call for quotes. I found some great reviews for 24/7 Car Doctor. Over the phone, I was quoted about half of the original estimate and I was very fortunate they had time to get me in same day! Josh, the owner, was very friendly, answered any question or concern I had, and came and showed me the parts from my car. The rotors were able to be turned and didn't need replacing. They replaced my brake pads, had my rotors turned, and changed my oil for nearly 1/4 of what I would have paid at the large Corp. The entire experience felt transparent and trustworthy. Every employee we saw was friendly and kept us posted on the vehicle process. They will even let you bring your own parts/meet or beat competitor quotes. We left being safe in our vehicle again and knowing we were well taken care of. We will certainly be back and would recommend!
