OK, things happen, we all understand that, but he refused to discuss this with me and explain what happened. I left repeated messages for over one month, being given reassurances by the very nice office staff that he would contact me soon. He never did. He actions could be interpreted as though he did something wrong and was afraid to tell me. Or that he has/had other cases in litigation and was fearful of getting sued again. Hard to know when your oral surgeon will not explain the outcome of a procedure they charged so much for. His staff is very very nice, he betrays their integrity.

Dr. Dweck took a lot of time to do a very thorough examination and consultation regarding my situation. I was surprised that he was able to explain my condition to me is a caring manner and used terms that I could easily understand. He made me feel welcome and did not judge me for my lack of prior care. I was able to understand the situation I was in and the reason for the necessary treatment. I had Dr. Dweck do his recommended course of action. I did lose several teeth due to my neglect, but I love my implants that he and my dentist did to replace the missing teeth. I am now a regular patient of Dr. Dweck's and am glad that he was able to save me from wearing dentures.

I normally don't leave negative reviews, but my experience with Aspen Dental deserves to be shared…read moreso others can avoid what I went through. After my primary dentist's office closed, I called Aspen Dental on a Friday morning because I was in severe pain from an infected wisdom tooth (swollen face, jaw pain, and unable to eat). The person on the phone assured me they could see me first thing Monday and that if it was wisdom tooth related, someone on-site could remove it or have their oral surgeon handle it that week. When I arrived 20 minutes early as instructed, they had no record of my appointment and claimed they canceled it because I "never provided insurance info." That was completely false as I had already done so over the phone, and I even showed them the call logs proving it. Instead of apologizing or fixing their mistake, the front desk staff told me there was "nothing they could do" and acted like it was my fault. After some back and forth, they finally agreed to see me that day. They took X-rays, and the dentist told me I needed all four wisdom teeth removed under full anesthesia, plus "gum treatments" and other procedures that would bring the total to over $4,700. Nearly $1,000 of that quote was just for deep sedation, supposedly keeping me under for more than 45 minutes. For comparison, when I went to another local dentist afterward, the entire procedure to remove two of my wisdom teeth took under 15 minutes total, start to finish, with no need for that level of sedation. It was clear Aspen Dental was pushing unnecessary procedures and trying to upsell me on things that weren't urgent or even needed. I decided to leave and get a second opinion, and I'm so glad I did. The new dentist saw me the same day, confirmed that only two teeth needed to come out, and that none were impacted. To make matters worse, the Aspen dentist's son is the oral surgeon who would have performed the procedure, which makes the hard sell feel even more unethical. I never needed an oral surgeon! Since then, I've spoken with several locals who shared similar experiences of being over-quoted, misled, and pressured into unnecessary dental work. Many also said that Aspen Dental doesn't take insurance for certain procedures and instead pressures patients to apply for high-interest loans or CareCredit on the spot to cover the inflated quotes. It's a clear pattern of taking advantage of people, especially those in pain or under stress. If you're in pain or just need honest dental care, go literally anywhere else. Aspen Dental is predatory, overpriced, and dishonest, and they do not prioritize patient care or integrity in the slightest.

Where do I begin? So I proposed to my girl in Albany, NY late in 2016 at the Lights In The Park…read moreShow that's held every Christmas season. I propose, she says yes. Awesome. All the hanky-panky crap is censored here for all you Disney Filter folks. Now, for a precursor, my wife and her mother run a very successful event planning business based in Saratoga Springs. We are only slightly uppity, so back off. The ladies keep asking me to consider getting my front teeth repaired. The reason why is because I had bicuspid tooth extractions done in the mid 90's that really messed my bite up. Those practices are no longer used from what I hear. The practice that suggested the surgeon that did this to me I dont want to speak of, but they are from Delmar, NY and the last name rhymes with Barker. So, during the time we were engaged, we were in the process of totally renovating our house while we lived in it. It was old, but the plan was solid and the final concept would have been nice....had we not had a house fire that took most everything we owned and turned it to ashes. I could go into detail, but it turned out that a 4 year old AC window unit from Kenmore had a compressor failure that burst into flames at 9:05pm on a Friday night in June. Everyone was safe. Everyone was confused. We ended up at my wife's parents'. Luckily, after all the trauma we were given martinis, which is a great night cap in that situation. Anywho, I needed my grill done soon. I had a window of 2 months by the time we got to it. We were trying to rebuild while...well...my wife and her family were trying to organize our wedding(I just cheered them on with a cocktail in lawn chair. Classy). I was very nervous. I didn't want my smile to look bad for my bride on our wedding day, and we were running out of time FAST. I was still very nervous, but I was willing to go out of love and because I wanted my fiance to let me do things for her with my new teeth...like convince banks to accept lower monthly mortgage payments. The first practice we tried rhymes with Slowvin...yeah...slow to respond about fixing my teeth. They did a good job cleaning, but never got back when they said they would. Next was that guy on Broadway. He tried scare tactics to sell me sh*t I didn't need, then sent me a 50 dollar bill when I backed out. He never got it, even after he sent us a Christmas card inviting us to his "family." Who sends a "Welcome to the Family" card AFTER they send you a bill for not doing anything? I understand the frustration, but if you went through what I went through over there, you would make hand gestures unsuitable for the general public. Finally, I found Dr. Mark. I want to bring him and all his staff coffee right now just to say hi....not sure if they drink it, but if they did!!! Dr. Mark and Leisha heard my story and made the time to give me the best smile I ever had. They moved mountains for us. I love those guys. They are great people with great personalities. All of them in that office. Now that this COVID crap is tapering, I cant wait to go back for a cleaning and to say hi. Go there for your stuff. You wont regret it.

This was on a weekend and I had calls into 20 other dentists in the area and no one had called me back. I got through to Dr. Moreau and he agreed to meet me at his office, on his day off, to see what he could do to relieve some discomfort. Within a half hour he had me fixed up and pain free. He was professional, efficient, and an overall cool guy that went out of his way to help one of his patience big time. I can't thank him enough for being the 1 dentist to return my call. I rarely write reviews but I feel this one is more than warranted. Go there with confidence. Thanks again Dr. Moreau!
