He advertised that his office is in Columbia, but I think that is only to have it look good. All of my meetings were in a dilapidated room attached to his old house. There was a cat there at least three times trying to jump on my lap and interrupting us. When I mailed a check to his Columbia office, they didn't even know that it was there. They said they don't get mail at that address. In court, when I was on the stand and being cross examined, the lawyer confused me and I gave an incorrect answer. Jac just sat there. Afterwards, I asked him why he did not object. He said something like "I heard you say something, but you mumbled". Wrong. It was through the court microphone. The judge heard me, the other lawyer heard me. Also, Jac tell the judge that he is hard of hearing an asks everyone to speak up. In my opinion my lawyer's hard of hearing caused an issue in my case. When I finally decided to drop him and get a better lawyer, he stopped returning my emails. He owed me close to $10,000 and, so far, two business days, has not returned my calls or emails. Another example: I'm going through a divorce. I made a spreadsheet with all household items and their estimated values. I told jac about it and he said it would be useful. When I showed it to my new, current lawyer, she said "No, that's not good at all. You will need a professional property appraiser to document all of the household items." She new the law. She was very quick with the correct answer. Jac....he just seemed to not know. For some reason, this review was removed from Yelp...reposting The business owner replied that there were many inaccuracies. I call on that business owner to name the inaccuracies.

Based on this representation, I remitted the requested retainer to Montero Law Group. Subsequently, Ms. Montero advised an additional deposit to cover estimated property taxes and attorney fees. Ms. Caspari asserted that the HOA's attorney had a professional obligation to disclose the precise amount due. I specifically inquired whether my deposit would be refunded if the court's decision was unfavorable. I emphasized that these were personal funds, distinct from the estate, and that Ms. Caspari was aware I was utilizing my own resources to secure this property for my brother's grandson, his next of kin. She confirmed the funds would be returned. Consequently, I deposited the requested amount with Montero Law Group. Subsequently, Ms. Caspari informed me of an unfavorable court ruling. When I sought clarification, she stated the deposited amount was insufficient but did not advise on the required sum. Presently, Ms. Caspari has communicated the judge's decision not to return my deposit, without providing a specific explanation. She suggested engaging my estate attorney to ascertain the reasons for the non-reimbursement of my funds.
