I brought an MRI study for documentation. She gave me a very nice back massage. She did not touch affected shoulder area. She did not even glance at the MRI. She gave me (what sounded like) a very dismissive, standard palliative on breathing (to open my shoulder area) and sent me on my way to the receptionist who billed me $375. No manipulation. No evaluation or diagnosis. No directives or advice for exercises or stretching. My take was she did not want to take my case (probably because she had no idea how to approach it). Weeks later there is no change to my chronic pain despite my extra breathing. From my experience, it is the receptionist who seems to know the most about osteopathic practices in that office. In the past I have had good experience with osteopathic practitioners. Dr. Rochette does not belong in that league.

It is likely that the spine in my neck sustained significant damage which was discovered via MRI after the insurance case was closed. The spinal injury radiates down my shoulder. The first time I experienced this was right after the car accident. Now I am absorbing the cost of medical mistakes once again. So far it has cost me $3000 in lost wages and likely $8000 in medical cost. It will likely cost me several more thousands in lost wages. A simple 3 minutes assessment and some imaging would have prevent this. I just paid off another medical error that cost me $5000, that could have been prevented by a doctor at her practice. Her response-pay payments-knowing full well that I have previously experienced additional financial loss due to medical errors. It took me 6 years to go back to the doctor after the first experience, only to experience more preventable errors from her and her office. This, after another experience event under her care in which my records are false causing more harm- emotionally, physically, and financially. Correct medical records could have help me recover emotionally, physically, and financially from previous medical errors. She said she wanted to advocate for me and help. The next breath she threw me under the bus. She was angry how I was treated by previous providers, then turns around and does the same thing, but worse. On a level from 1-10 mental anguish due to medical errors and lack of accountability from those who brush off valid concerns and cause intentional additional trauma is about 10000000/10. I am so done absorbing the cost of incompetence. I really wish we had a competent medical board in CA to take valid concerns.

My husband had been admitted to the hospital twice in the past for medical emergencies -- he received only the best care from Dr. O and the San Ramon Medical Center and recovered both times. During one of the medical emergencies, at night and on a weekend, I called Dr. O's office, and he personally took the call himself -- most Dr's would have an answering service taking the calls! Not only did he advise me on all the proper steps to take for the next 24 hours, but I felt reassured as always that my husband was in excellent hands and in the hands of a caring doctor. We had to sadly switch health plans a year ago, as employers have made it so difficult to have private care. I cannot wait for changes to our employers health plans so we can return to Dr. O as our primary care provider. As for greeting us , on a normal basis he often would greet us with "Oh, you made it!" meaning "You were able to keep the appointment, I'm glad to see you!" We feel blessed to have been under the care of such a top notch doctor and would highly recommend him to anyone.
