No evaluation or diagnosis. No directives or advice for exercises or stretching. My take was she did not want to take my case (probably because she had no idea how to approach it). Weeks later there is no change to my chronic pain despite my extra breathing. From my experience, it is the receptionist who seems to know the most about osteopathic practices in that office. In the past I have had good experience with osteopathic practitioners. Dr. Rochette does not belong in that league.

Nothing I shared was unusual or inappropriate. He walked out of the room. I assumed he had gone to put coins in the parking meter, but he never came back. Afterward, he never responded to my emails or phone calls. I was desperate for some explanation and closure after being left that exposed, and at the time I still wanted him to continue working with me. I have lived with a complex structural medical problem for many years and have encountered a great deal of cruelty and unprofessional behavior, but Joe's conduct still stands out. Abandoning a bedridden patient in an acutely vulnerable moment without a word, and then refusing all communication, was profoundly cruel, immature, and unprofessional. Unfortunately, I also think this reflects on the practice as a whole. I wish Mari provided better professional guidance to ensure that a patient was never treated this way.
