She's got this goofy way with them that's so endearing. When they were infants, she was usually able to look in my kids' ears/mouth without them crying. Granted, they were both fairly easygoing babies, but I've seen other doctors who couldn't do it without them crying. On top of being knowledgeable and great with kids, Dr. Rosenberg has such a great bedside manner with parents too. With my first baby, I was just an average mom with a textbook baby, but she never made me feel like my mundane concerns weren't important, even though I'm sure she deals with the same concerns from hundreds of new parents every week. When I was a new mom in total meltdown mode, she spent the time to calm me, reassure me, and encourage me when I needed it, instead of rushing me out the door so she could make her next appointment on time. (Yet she manages to be on-time with most of her appointments, which is great!) And she always remembered to congratulate me whenever I overcame whatever difficulty I'd been having, which was very thoughtful of her. Dr. Rosenberg spends her lunch break returning calls to parents and has spent up to half an hour with me on the phone, patiently answering all my questions. My 2nd baby was born with a number of known medical conditions, and even before she was born, I was thanking my lucky stars to have someone like Dr. Rosenberg in my corner. (I'm tearing up thinking of it actually!) Dr. Rosenberg introduced us to a great pediatric surgeon and assured me she was in touch with the best specialists in the Bay Area in advance of my daughter's birth so they'd be monitoring her from her first days. That was over two years ago now, and from day one Dr. Rosenberg has always been vigilant about staying ahead of any potential complications with my daughter's health and has been there to help me weigh important decisions pertaining to her care. I can't express how grateful I am to Dr. Rosenberg. I really should've posted a review sooner, but I was selfishly concerned she'd get so busy she wouldn't have time for my girls. Instead of what I expected to be a discussion focused on my son's health, much of the appointment became an extended lecture about COVID, the COVID vaccine, and the HPV vaccine. I welcome thoughtful discussions with physicians and respect that doctors have expertise, but I also believe parents should be able to ask questions or express concerns without being made to feel unintelligent or dismissed. Throughout the conversation, I felt that any attempt at open dialogue or a differing perspective was immediately discounted rather than discussed. I left feeling disrespected and insulted rather than supported as a parent trying to make informed decisions for my child. What was most upsetting was that this entire interaction took place in front of my 15-year-old son. After we left the office, he told me he did not want to see Dr. Kelly again because of the way he witnessed me being spoken to. That, more than anything, convinced me that this experience was unacceptable. I am not writing this review to debate vaccines or public health recommendations. I am writing it because I believe families deserve to know what kind of communication style they may encounter. If you appreciate collaborative conversations and expect your questions or differing viewpoints to be treated respectfully, my experience with Dr. Kelly was not consistent with those expectations. After two decades with this practice, this was by far the most upsetting medical appointment I have experienced as a parent. Yes the building is not remodeled and they use paper files, but all we want is good care and an attentive pediatrician. That is exactly what you get here. We are mainly with Dr. Elizabeth, and she takes her time to stay with us the full 30 minutes. Does not rush us out of there and is extremely attentive and friendly. We also had visits with Dr. Anne and Dr. Tan, both of which were great and we wouldn't mind working with any of them. The other is 16, which requires parental approval. And why not give it to our 3rd child if it was so threatening??? They did happily send us the full bill for it as it is not covered by insurance, even though they told us it was. We brought up an issue in our daughter's health and the next thing we knew we had been referred out to a neuro. But there was never a conversation about the referral with the doctor. Dr. Dana NEVER called us to inform us we would be contacted by Stanford. We overheard a young mother with her first baby explaining to the staff that she was uncomfortable giving a third COVID booster to her baby, because the studies are inconclusive on the risks. The person in the front office treated this woman like she was on crack - OF COURSE you should give the third booster to your child. It was a gross overstep. Any parent deserves understanding that get to make different choices I cannot recommend this practice. It just feels like a cattle call with a doctor and staff who stopped caring long ago.

The front office staff is thorough and efficient, we never had to wait more than a few min to be seen. We have always been accommodated day of for sick day visits and our doctor immediately follows up if we had to go to urgent care when they were not available. We are so grateful for how quickly and adeptly they developed their guidance and vaccine clinic during Covid. Having to go see another practice was one of the hardest things about leaving SF!

Dr's Tang and Huie were incredibly supportive through an otherwise very scary time and have been so great to work with from day 1. While I was recovering in the hospital, Dr. Tang stopped by to check in on me and ask about my son, even though he was in the NICU and not with me. She could not go into the NICU due to COVID but followed all updates in his chart and called me throughout my 6-day hospital stay to see how things were progressing and answer any questions. While this may not seem that notable, her proactiveness during my c-section recovery and hospital stay was such a lifesaver. I didn't have the energy or wherewithal to pick up the phone to dial her but I inevitably had questions every time she called. Since bringing my son home, we've worked closely with both Dr's to get my son his proper vaccinations and work through all newborn concerns. They are super responsive, patient, and experienced. I've never once felt rushed out of their office or off the phone. They are thorough and, in my opinion, that is critical in healthcare. Dr's diagnose/treat based on information - asking questions then listening to patients could make a life-altering difference. That attention can be hard to find these days as everyone seems to be in a hurry. I am so grateful to have found them!
