DO NOT hire DePalma Construction for commercial projects. We…read morehired them to build a heavy-duty parking lot for our semi-trucks and trailers. We had engineering plans in place, but after signing the contract, DePalma ignored those plans and replaced them with his own -- cutting the lot size in half. Now we can only fit 18 trailers when we need room for 60, and there's no space for employee or truck parking. Worse, the lot can't support the weight of loaded trailers. They sink into the ground, sometimes all the way up to the dolly legs. The driveway is dangerously steep and too narrow for two semis to pass, which creates traffic hazards on Hwy 231. Several experts we've brought in say there's no foundation -- just crusher run on topsoil -- and the entire site will have to be torn up and redone from scratch. Despite making multiple payments, including an additional $44,000 to meet a deadline, the property is unusable. On top of that, there's now a lien on the site because DePalma hasn't paid his suppliers. We're sharing this to help others avoid the same mistake. Be very cautious before doing business with this company.

And when it does, it's usually cob jobbed back together just to break shortly after. And when it does the driver will be blamed for it no matter how long you've been in the vehicle or how long it was wrote up for. If you're looking to get paid, you should definitely avoid this place, the competition is starting its dump truck drivers at $21 an hour, this place is under $19. The ONLY reason I made as much as I did is because I transferred over here from the other Vitale.
