Two of them worked for less than 6 hours, used a single roll of the cheapest peel and stick roofing material you can buy (supposedly put over a "snow shield" which is just a thin sheet of metal from what I can tell). When I asked for an itemized list of labor and materials they told me that they have to pay $77K a year for a special license to work on asbestos tiles and that they really needed the check ASAP for payroll. I looked it up after the fact and there is no license that cost that much! I deeply regret paying them.

And my quote dropped $7,000 in less than 30 minutes when it was becoming apparent I would not bite at the original $34K estimate for basement waterproofing. And they definitely pressure you to make a very hefty financial commitment in a short amount of time. I don't doubt that they do quality work; I just don't trust that I'm not getting taken for a ride on cost.
