Susan at the front office is delightful and helpful. I was nervous for my deep cleaning today because of years of previous hygienist..... painful and a bit scary!!! Today I met Gorett, my hygienist, and she was a breath of fresh air! She talked with me regarding all my previous procedures over the years at another DDS office and we actually talked, one on one as she reviewed my X-rays and read through Dr. Yee's notes attentively. She listened to my concerns and what I wish for my oral health now and moving forward. I am very grateful for the care and expertise I received today. It really was a gift! I had dual coverage and so I had asked them if there's anything I'd need to pay or any fees for the appointment. I was told that there is no fee for a consultation. After my appointment at check out I was asked to pay $178. When I asked why I was told that's just what they charge. So I went ahead and paid it hesitantly. Several months later they sent me another bill for $145. When I called the office and asked why, they said it was for the CT scan that they did. And I remember having a conversation with the assistant prior to getting the CT scan and asking if I would have to pay for that scan. Since one was already done by my referring dentist I don't want to have another done unless there would be no charge. They had me wait a long time while they checked if it was covered then I was told that it's free of charge. And now they are requiring me to pay the $145 months later because apparently it's not covered since one was done by my other dentist- which I specifically told them. I think it's bad practice for the office side of the business. The doctor was very pleasant and nice but I will not be getting my treatment here due to the devious way the office conducts its business.

Charlotte was nervous about getting braces, but the entire dental team has been so kind, patient, and caring with her that she quickly felt at ease. Scheduling appointments has also been a breeze--I never have to worry about timing or conflicts with my own schedule. Unfortunately, my interaction with the front office, particularly Vanessa, was extremely disappointing. Her attitude was consistently rude, dismissive, and lacking in basic customer service. About an hour before my very first appointment, Vanessa called to cancel, explaining that an electrical outage over the weekend had caused their digital X-ray system to malfunction. While I understand that unexpected issues can happen, I asked to reschedule during the same call. She told me their computer system was down and that she would call me back later that day to schedule a new appointment. No one ever called. After waiting most of the day, I called the office myself. Vanessa answered and, in an impatient tone, scheduled me for the following day. I also asked for an appointment reminder to ensure everything was confirmed, and she agreed. I never received one. When I called again to verify the appointment, no one answered. When I arrived for my rescheduled appointment, the experience became even worse. Instead of apologizing for canceling my original appointment on such short notice or acknowledging the inconvenience, Vanessa told me she had accidentally double-booked the doctor and asked me to wait another 30 to 40 minutes. When I explained that the repeated cancellations and delays had already disrupted my schedule, she became defensive and accused me of being "too pushy" and not understanding their situation. She then told me, "You can choose another dentist if you're not happy with me." I took her advice, turned around, and walked out. First impressions matter, and this office failed before I ever had the opportunity to meet the dentist. If this is how new patients are treated, I have little confidence that future interactions would be any better. I'm actually grateful I discovered the front office's lack of professionalism before becoming an established patient. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office. He asks trivia questions and then interrupts us when we ask what he would like to do during the call or why he is calling, and his interruption is usually to call us stupid for not knowing the answer to random trivia. He calls multiple times in a day. He might be a good dentist but I would advise customers to be careful with big medical procedures he wants to make because his decision making is deeply impaired. I no longer work there as of a few weeks ago, and I am glad to be rid of this nonsense.

In fact, I'm hesitant to switch to a different dentist, even though I live far now and traveling to him is not convenient. I tried switching once and it didn't go well and I ended up going back to Dr. Fillet to get the other dentist's mistakes fixed. Overall, I highly recommend him. His services can be expensive, but you can trust him to do a good job.
