The shop is attractive and inviting, with display windows I usually check out when I'm passing by on the street. It carries a curated list of high-end brands for men and women, and the clothing is on the cool side of fashion meant for wealthy, middle-aged residents of Montecito. Not edgy but not totally dorky, all of it well made. I picked out a few shirts and got them wrapped up in a handsome gift box. My husband was surprised and pleased with his present, though he needed a different size for one of the shirts. I exchanged it the next day, no problem. Both of the sales clerks I interacted with were helpful and pleasant. I tried on a button-down shirt for myself, too, but it was a bit pricey for a random purchase on somebody else's birthday. If my husband were an entirely different person, I might send him to K. Frank on my birthday, to buy something nice for me.

The Post is a stunning stopping point in Montecito for shopping and dining. I love that it's just a…read morelittle bit past the downtown area so it has less foot traffic. It was easy to find and they also have ample parking being away from the main town. I was able to snag a parking spot on the weekend but if it gets busy they also have valet parking which I appreciate. The grounds of the Post are really beautiful. It's a lovely outdoor space to shop and drink your coffee or tea. The stores are very visually appealing and the aesthetic gives clean and *money lol. But really, let's just call it what it is. To shop here you have to be spending a pretty penny. I won't rate less stars because of this - I just want to acknowledge for fellow readers this is not an outlet, there are no deals - this is a spot for luxury shopping and that's A okay. It's a place I'll gladly come to look around but it's out of my price range. Aside from the shops I love that the Post holds space for one of my favorite new restaurants, Ospi! Staff at all the shops were were courteous and welcoming. And reasonable Valet parking is also available. Was so much fun to be greeted right away by Tedde and her Garden Shop, Scenery Floral. Tedde is a Curator, Art Historian, and Stylist. She has a nice selection of plants, pottery, garden tools, and so much more. So nice to see the beauty in this small and welcoming outdoor space. Although we did not have a lot of time to truly explore, we did walk in and out of several shops and definitely look forward to bring family and friends for some serious Retail Therapy. We also got the chance to meet stylist Kadel and tour his store, The Optimist, which has an incredible selection of men's clothing. And winding down the day with a late lunch at Ospi. We arrived around 2pm on July 4th and found the store closed for lunch, with a sign posted -- totally reasonable. While deciding whether to wait, we looked through the window at a few hats we liked. The sales associate came up to the glass and made rude, dismissive gestures at us to go away. Odd, since we weren't knocking or trying to get in, but we shrugged it off and went to get coffee. We came back when the store reopened, planning to buy the hats. The associate recognized us immediately, asked if we were "the people from earlier," and when we said yes, she laughed at us and said, "Can't you read? I posted a sign!" -- then ushered us out of the store. We never got to buy anything. To be clear: we respected the lunch closure, waited patiently, and returned as paying customers. For that we were mocked and thrown out. Great product, but I can't recommend a store where this is how customers get treated.
