Took my son in for a sports physical, and they were running a special for $55 ($20 off the normal cost), which was a bonus. Couple of weeks later, I noticed an additional $20 charge that was added to my credit card 5 days after the service date. When I called to inquire about the charge, the front desk attendant quickly explained (as if on script) it was because there was a "missing modifier" on the bill. That somehow the charge had been accidentally added, but the modifier was missing to remove the charge. She gave me the number of their biller, so I called the biller. As soon as I gave the date of service and my son's info to the phone attendant, she immediately said, "Oh, you must be calling about the missing modifier, and the additional $20 that was not taken off your bill." Yep. "Let me speak to my supervisor so we can remove that for you." Few seconds later: "I spoke to my supervisor, so I will get that refunded to your credit card within 7-10 business days." Very strange...almost as if the extra $20 charge is something that's "accidentally" slipped in automatically with every sports physical "special", and if it's queried, it's removed -- if not, yay for them. Also: the situation would have made more sense if the initial accidental charge was $75, not $55, with the $20 added on 5 days later. Might have been an honest mistake on their part -- I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and try going back the next time one of us needs urgent medical care. But I'll be checking my statements carefully afterward, just in case.

This has been sold to Dignity and is now a Med Stop and primary care on West Mall…read more If you get established with a primary care here, know that you're signing up to use their urgent care for all colds. They're way over booked for primary care as part of Dignity's business model. Good practices stop accepting new patients or hire more people when appointments for colds are booking 2-6 weeks out. Not Dignity. So every cold I pay $500-$1500 before my PPO deductible for 1-3 visits at walk-in. Lunacy. Also urgent care docs could be integrating well with the primary care side, since they sit 20ft away from each other and share the same records. But I've found this not to be the case. Generally speaking the urgent care side focuses on your current symptoms and presentation. I have to sweet talk or "be my own advocate" to get lab tests ordered through urgent care, or results from lab tests.

I felt she was quick to assume what he had, although she did order labs, diagnostics, etc..Which I did like. I'd say her bed side manner isn't the best. She tends to speak at you, not really to you. The MA was super nice and kind. Overall, thus far I'm not impressed. I will edit this post the further my dealings are with this office.

They got my new insurance information verified quickly and without any hassles. When it came time to see Dr. Taylor she was prompt and well prepared having familiarized herself with my chart prior to coming in to the exam room. She was very engaging and thorough. We went down a list of items that were pertinent to my medical diagnoses and discussed strategies for obtaining our joint goals. At all times I felt listened to, valued, and respected. She is a North County treasure!

I waited…read more3 months to get in to see her and when I did it was at the end of the day and she was 45 minutes behind; so when I was finally seen it felt very rushed as it was after 5:30. I then called the office recently; had to speak to an answering service and was treated with such disrespect. I requested a nurse to call me and was told it would be up to 48 hours to get a call... luckily she did call that day and when I tried to talk some about the answering service experience she didn't care and couldn't answer my questions about medication and was told to call the pharmacy.... back to looking for a new doctor:(
