I needed help to print a document…read morecorrectly and was told they did not have the people there to help me. the 2 at the desk claimed to be to busy and said the one in the back was on the phone. I explained that i had set the computer to print legal size and it gave me 8 by 11. What appeared to bethe one in charge. then suggested a computer class, or I could go to another branch. I found that answer to be in the poorest taste. I have been using this library for 20 years or more. And do not appreciate discrimination. In any form.

The prerequisite must have been "JOYFUL". I love how clean and new the books are. I'm sure they go through a lot but it doesn't show. They looked earnest & engrossed in their duties. Friday, 5/2/22, I visited this library for a one hour lesson in writing a "love letter will." It was interesting and I learned a few things. It was also a pitch for estate planning and wills, but I'm happy with our attorney and our will. I took the useful brochure with me. Afterwards, I wandered down the wide hallway to the double glass doors to peruse the books for sale in the front of the library. Prices were reasonable. I also looked around at the plethora of books and other materials that patrons could check out. But I had to call this visit short. I had to hurry to Palm Harbor to lead a class (Tai Chi for Balance). I hope to return for a more in depth look at what this majestic library offers.

It is actually a small library and the book selection is very limited. All the books are pretty old too. I haven't seen any new books on the shelves at all. The staff is a mix. Most of the people working there are very nice but there is this one older lady that is kind of rude and dismissive. Overall, very convenient location but definitely a couple homeless people loitering around the parking lot and inside. I even saw a homeless guy sleeping inside the library once! Books can be limiting as well.
