These Gardening Higher Powers answered my numerous questions about poinsettias and plants requiring identification. These southern garden experts were so generous with their knowledge and expertise. It is a beautiful thing when social media platforms are used to inspire, educate, and elevate gardening enthusiasts. -- First, I requested a poinsettia diagnosis of what to do with a plant that appeared to be struggling to survive. Smith's Gardentown provided an immediate assessment of the next steps to make my 2024 poinsettia thrive in 2025 and beyond. When this constructive garden knowledge was dispensed, another gardening question was asked. -- Second, another request was made regarding identifying names of two ( 2 ) unknown plants in my possession without identities. Once again, Smith's Gardentown immediately named my two ( 2 ) unknown garden beauties as Calathea Rufibarba and Monstera (See Attached). Yes, there was an urge to ask a final question although I had so many more questions to ask of these plant genius gurus at Smith's Gardentown. -- Finaly, a request to say either my succulent was alive OR had quietly moved on to the light for immediate burial for this once thriving succulent plant. Personally, I thought it best to remove the dying succulent and simply stick in the soil for potential regrowth. Again, Smith's Gardentown affirmed my "half green thumb" thought of sticking the not yet dying succulent into the soil. However, Smith's Gardentown gardening professionals further suggested to prevent rot - Remove the dying succulent from the soil, Let the end dry out for 3 - 5 days, and then Stick it back in the soil. The only time I was ever fortunate to receive this kind of invaluable insight was at a medical office from a trusted medical professional! The next call came from Terri (caller ID said Morgan) asking me if I had the concrete blocks in place. Found an email from both Derkson and the financier asking for payment on the first (just a matter of days) and a signature that appears to be the same as the form signed in office purchase but includes the following: The condition of the building has been inspected. Lessor has the right to enter your property at any time to inspect the building. And includes a provision if they should take the building and personal property has not been removed from the building, it will not be returned. I then received a call asking me to get cement blocks for set up. According to advertisement, set-up is included. I made it clear I would not be signing any further paperwork until the building arrives and if promised services aren't rendered, then they could keep the building. Carl then called asking my wife to tell me we had to sign the paperwork BEFORE the building is delivered. furthermore, it was explained the size is calculated from outer wall to outer wall, yet the form states the size is from eave to eave. Yeah, sure, I'll get right on that signature without inspection with a due date for first payment before the building even arrives and a late payment fee of $300. You'd be better off just saving the cash you'd pay each month and buying a building outright from somewhere else. Needless to say, I am cancelling the order and expect full refund of deposit.
