I just finished out a weekend of performances as Little Red Ridinghood in Jamestown Community Theatre's "Into The Woods", and I can't speak highly enough about this wonderful organization! Founded in 1990, JCT has been going strong for nearly 30 years, providing residents of Jamestown and beyond the opportunity to perform, create, and attend high caliber Broadway-style musicals. This was my second time performing with this company - I played the Leading Player in last fall's PIPPIN the Musical, and couldn't wait to return for the spring show this year. That's truly a testament to the warm and welcoming environment of this professionally run company. As an actor, I love how JCT strikes a great balance in rehearsals between working hard and having fun. I have made a handful of lifelong friends and theatre collaborators from my involvement with the company, and for that, I could not be more grateful! Ricky, the director I have worked with both times, is an absolutely fantastic, kind, and brilliant soul who any actor would be lucky to work under. Everyone I've met here puts 100% of their time, talent, and energy into making the productions the best they can be. If you have the chance to see or be a part of a JCT show, please take it!
