So after hours, weeks and months of shopping around and investigating every photographer in the Vegas area, I knew that Jamie had everything I was looking for... a unique style for the offbeat bride while also creating pictures that are so timeless. I booked Jamie before I even had any ideas or plans for the rest of the wedding. Throughout the process she was great at keeping in touch, responding to my questions quickly and giving recommendations for her favorite local vendors. The wedding day was in July, I think possibly the hottest day there was, and during the time of day with most sun. But she never complained and worked so hard to make our day everything I could ask for. She was lugging around our stuff while we took photos around Fremont and even kneeled down on the hot pavement just to get a perfect shot! Not only the misery of the heat did she endured but also the challenge of the sun interfering with the pictures, but she knew how to work with the lighting... in fact I think her greatest talent is knowing how use light to make the greatest photos and make what would be ordinary absolutely stunning! Jamie has you fill out a survey that helps her understand what your style is what you desire her focus to be on and such and she really implemented that well. She really took the time to think outside the box to make her photos look beautiful and unique. She's not there to replicate what she's already done before, but caters to her couples individual style while adding her artistic eye to blow it out of water! I was also surprised by how quickly she got our photos done! She had our sneak peek done that night and the rest of the gallery in half the time of the deadline she gave us! I can't say enough about how fantastic Jamie is. I work with a lot of photographers in my professional life and I can sincerely say Jamie Y is my #1. I found her on Instagram a month before my fiance and I's elopement and she was quick to respond my inquiry and answered all my questions before signing on. Since I'm out of town, she gave me tons of recommendations on time of day and location for our wedding pictures to come out perfect. I felt like she was invested in our photos from the beginning and thats what made me feel so comfortable even though we hadn't met! I first heard about Jamie on Facebook. A friend of mine posted some amazing family photos on her profile and told me about Jamie. Disappointed in my toddler's photographer at one of those "mall photo places", I decided that I would schedule an appointment with Jamie for my then two-and-a-half-year-old son. My biggest concern was she kid-friendly, specifically two year-old toddler friend. Indeed she is! Jamie was on time, professional, thorough, patient, and offered great direction during the session. . However, after about a 2 hour shoot I was certain that there were only three shots where my son actually looked at the camera and smiled. His objective was not to smile but, he was no match for Jamie. She got him to smile, laugh, play, and captured the essence of his personality. If you have children, you know how unpredictable toddlers can be. Soon after the shoot, the teaser was up and I was impressed, but when I saw the whole package I was SPEECHLESS! She captured some AHHH-MAZING "moments" of my son. There were so many GREAT shots it was a nightmare to narrow them down to my favorites. I told her she did her job too well! ;) My son took his first pics with Jamie in the Spring. We were so impressed with Jamie as our wedding photographer. She was very professional from the start to end. She communicated with us throughout the entire planning process and took a genuine interest in ensuring we got the best pics on our day. We from Vancouver BC and our wedding took place at Nelsons Landing in Nevada. It was scary to book a venue that we had not been to before, but knowing that Jamie had taken pics there many times and knew the location well put us at ease. My fiancé and I decided in August to elope at the end of September. With one month on the clock, the first thing I did was research photographers. I am so glad we found Jamie! Planning events makes me nuts, so it was thrilling to be able to ask someone questions who was knowledgeable of the area and quick to respond. It definitely brought my stress level down a notch. Oh my gosh. I'm so incredibly happy that I found Jamie through instagram. My husband and I abruptly decided to get married earlier this year so we only had about 5-6 months to plan a wedding. For the actual ceremony, we were stuck booking through the venue so I knew I wanted really special photos from a photographer that had the aesthetics I was looking for. From the beginning, Jamie was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Some of the sites we wanted to take photos at were decommissioned or just had no availability (which was kind of a stressor) but we trusted Jamie to show us around downtown to take some fun pictures. She was even able to snag a few photos with our dog! She also keeps her instagram up to date (which is where I found out some spots were closed). Lastly I can't believe how fast she was in getting us sneak peaks. I didn't expect the quick turnaround so I was SOOO happy to see those. I actually found some of Jamie's photos on Pinterest, tracked her down, and then followed her Instagram before my husband and I were even engaged. I immediately fell in love with her style and composition, and knew that I wanted to work with her in one way or another. When my husband and I got engaged, we decided that we liked the idea of going to Vegas, but ended up needing to get everything done in the span of two weeks! Jamie was the first email I sent and THE BEST choice we could have possibly made. Jamie was everything I could've ever dreamed of for our wedding photographer and more. Her style already fit my personal taste a lot, but I was able to pick examples of her work that I liked best and tell her the mood I was going for and she absolutely NAILED it!!! Every time I'd see a new picture, I was just speechless at how beautiful they were! Highly recommendable photographer! We booked Jamie for a 2 hour wedding photo shoot in Las Vegas in May 2016. Even though we had to co-ordinate the "project" from Europe, the correspondence with Jamie was quick, efficient and smooth right from the start until the "delivery". We informed her in advance that we both tend to "freeze" on photos but she is a VERY kind and pleasant person and immediately managed to create a relaxed atmosphere. We were not tense at all during the photo session and Jamie captured our very Special day with gorgeous photos taken at fantastic and exceptional backdrops in the Fremont Street area. We booked Jamie to take photographs after our wedding at The Little White Chapel. We booked her for an hour and a half and we had specific downtown vibe pictures in mind. My now husband and I aren't the best in front of a camera, however Jamie made us feel incredibly relaxed and not silly and posed. In fact, everyone who has seen our pictures since we've been home, have said how we look like naturals in front of the camera. That was down to Jamie. She knew all the great spots to take us to and really captured the exact vibe we were going for. We got sneak peak photographs less than 24 hours after the session!! Super impressive. Jamie and her assistant Jessi were amazing! I don't know how my wife found her online but I'm so happy she did! I live in MI so it's a bit of a gamble when choosing a photographer on the other side of the country. We were a little nervous since these photos were for our wedding. Contacted some other photogs before we found her but they were wishy washy to say the least. Jaime was top notch from start to finish! Kept in constant communication before, during, and after the wedding. She also wasn't one of those photographers you hear about that take 6 months to a year to get your photos. I think she had ours processed within a month, maybe even sooner. After we ordered the pics arrived within a week as well. I simply cannot say enough good things about her. Jamie was great to work with. We hired her to photograph our post wedding photos. We explained to her our concept and she got it right away. She took us downtown and shot tons of great photos which expressed our desires and personality. She also had a second photographer present who did a lot of candid photos as well or background shots. My Husband and I were visiting Las Vegas for our anniversary and asked Jamie to take photos of us around downtown.
