The entire staff at the PTC office is absolutely amazing! Our 13 yo son had received several…read moreallergy shots several weeks in a row (for seasonal allergies) with only very mild reactions or no reaction at all. However, last night he did have a more severe reaction, just before the 15 min observation period was over. Thanks to Danielle's (MA) THOROUGH education on signs/symptoms of anaphylaxis during our first visit, my son immediately recognized his symptoms, and notified me. Danielle *believed* him, then assessed him quickly and calmly. Within 1-2 minutes, his symptoms progressed, so she calmly notified other staff who arrived in seconds. Amanda, NP, Brandy, NP, and Jacob, NP were all extremely professional, calm, and thorough as they monitored and cared for my son. Three staff stayed with us for 2 hours until all of us (my son included) agreed that he was stable and safe to go home. Dr. Agrawal was in constant communication with his staff throughout the episode via phone (even though he was at an event for his new office) to ensure my son was improving, and to stay informed. He and Amanda also requested I update them later that night via cell phone to ensure my son was still all good. This was so comforting to my husband and I!! Again, I cannot stress enough how valuable the education on anaphylaxis was to my son and myself! Danielle explained the information in a simple, concise and easy-to-understand way that my son obviously remembered! He knew something was happening to his body because of that education, and he felt confident to speak up. Now if anything were to ever happen to him outside of that office (heaven forbid!!), he feels 100% confident he can handle it and knows he will make it through unscathed! That is so comforting to this Mama!! Danielle, Amanda, Brandy and Jacob--THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You all made such a difference in our lives last night! Despite some red flags (clunky administrative issues, very high staff turnover, difficulty reaching the office by phone or having messages returned, incredibly long wait times in the office, etc.) we continued to see Dr. Radcliffe because of her gentle care, calm bedside manor and attention to detail. She was a great fit for our family and helped to justify staying with the practice when we were otherwise ready to move on. We also saw Dr. Kendall and Dr. Bush a few times and were very happy with their care as well. When we found out that Dr. Radcliffe was leaving we began casually looking at other practices in the area but this is also when covid vaccines began coming out for young children. Our friends whose children attended other practices around the city had no problems getting their kids vaccinated but We Care consistently told us (when we could get someone on the phone or to return a message) they didn't have the vaccine and did not know when they would. No offer to look into it or call us when they had other information. Between Dr. Radcliffe leaving and this, we were finally ready to leave and began seeing a new practice in August of 2022. However, what's really frustrating is that we continue to receive automated voicemails and texts, sometimes DAILY from We Care with an annoying recorded message reminding us to book an appointment. It feels like being spammed by a telemarketer and I've finally had to block the number because it is out of control. I think We Care has a lot of promise - they have great doctors and are in a convenient part of town for a lot of parents. Unfortunately there is still a lot of room for improvement.

I waited a couple days and called the office once again at this point I had only spoken to the receptionist never to the doctor the pediatrician relied to her receptionist to let me know that my daughter is fine and it will go away about an hour after that. Call the pediatrician call me And says and I "didn't I have a conversation with you over this already with an attitude I go actually I never spoke to you. She goes well. Your child is fine and don't worry about it extremely rude. I have never had a conversation so rude and just not caring about how her patient is doing. Dr. Justice never misses a beat. Whatever I need for my children all I have to do is ask. I'm a hard mama to please and I don't give anyone a break when it comes to my babies and their health. When I take my daughter to the practice they always have a room to put her in to reduce her contact with others while there or her contact with sick children(she has a weakened immune system). Both my children love Dr. Justice. She is thorough and patient we have never been rushed out of the visit. She has stepped out of her "doctor" role and given me mom advice on many different things. She was open and honest about her own personal struggles with being a mom and how she tackles different situations. We love it here and as long as we continue to receive them a same level and of service we will be here until the kids grow out of the practice. I never felt so abused by my primary care provider (and I've had some real doozies in my day). Someone is going to suffer a major medical issue due to their lack of care and failure to promptly address patient needs.
