So I needed a pediatrician fast, quick and in a hurry. Someone who was not far from where I live. I…read morewas recommended to go to Dr. Drayton. I was able to get someone on the phone and make an appointment the very next day with no problem. I made the mistake of making too many appointments in one day and they started to overlap. I called to let them know I would be running late, I was informed that they have a 15 min grace period but I couldn't make that time either. I was sooo stressed, this would be my daughters first appointment and didn't want to miss it. The receptionist, I believe her name was either Diane or Denise. She was amazing, she heard my frustration and gave me another time slot for that day. I was so grateful and thankful for that. I'm sure someone else or another location would have made me reschedule. So, we get there and the office is nice and cozy, very kid friendly! I was given an electronic device to put my information in, instead of pen and paper. It took me a minute but I discovered the process was pretty cool, no way could there be any confusion with handwriting. We get to the back and the nurse is very friendly. She was aware that my baby would need some blood drawn and immediately gives her a warmer for her foot, this is to help with circulation and to get the blood quickly. I appreciated that. I did not care for having to undress my baby and walk to the other side of the building for her to get weighed, it seemed weird. It was the front of the building and the blinds were open so I could see out into the parking lot. We didn't have to wait a long time for Dr. Drayton, she was patient and pleasant. We were in and out with no problems. My concern was upon leaving, there was a young woman on the phone at the front desk, clearly the convo was a personal one. This was my first time so I was not aware of the checkout process..... did they need a co-pay, another visit, etc. I waited a moment, clearly she sees and hears me with a carrier and baby bag ready to exit. I have to say, excuse me, I'm not aware of the check out process. She quickly gets off the phone to assist. She had to ask someone else what I needed to do. No payment and we set up another appointment. Do you have it or you need a card to remind you. Give me a card please. I'm thinking, I have a week old baby and I'm sleep deprived, that should have went without saying....... needless to say, before I could put my coat on, she was back to that personal call.

wait times are HORRIBLE. They have no urgency and the professionalism lacks far as communicating…read morewith the people for wait times!!!!!

My daughters have been patients at this pediatric…read moreoffice since birth, and for fourteen years we drove 52 minutes to continue receiving care here. That loyalty was earned at one time, but it has clearly not been valued in recent years. The decline in customer service and professionalism has been impossible to ignore. The most unacceptable experience involved repeated attempts to contact the office manager, Roger. I left several messages and received no return call. After being completely ignored, I went to the office in person, expecting at the very least a conversation. Instead, I was met with indifference and disrespect. After explaining my concerns at the front desk, a middle-aged man approached and immediately stated that the office was closing and that I would need to come back another day. He did not introduce himself, did not ask how he could help, and made it very clear that my concerns were an inconvenience. When I introduced myself, he admitted that he had received my messages yet still made no effort to address the situation. As I attempted to explain my concerns, he spoke over me, dismissed what I was saying, and ultimately walked away mid-conversation. Being treated this way--especially by someone in a leadership position--was shocking and unacceptable. After years of loyalty, time, and trust, this was the final confirmation that patient concerns no longer matter at this practice. While there have been multiple issues over the years, this encounter made our decision clear. After fourteen years, our family will no longer be receiving care from this office. Our relationship ends here
