A few weeks before the party I emailed her to make sure we were still on, and she said "yes." Then a few days before the event she contacted me and cancelled at the last minute because she had a scheduling conflict. I was left finding another vendor during the busiest time of the year with only a few days notice. Then, to make matters worse, when I asked her to return my deposit she said she would send a check to my home address (yet I submitted my payment through Paypal), which never showed up. I inquired twice more, and was initially told it was on its way and then never heard back from her again. Update: Never received refund in the mail; never received an email with a picture of a receipt, as stated. Apparently received all other forms of communication.
