After that, two additional employees approached me separately asking to see my socks as well. I completely understand having safety policies, but being approached by three different staff members asking to inspect the bottom of my feet after I had already explained the situation felt excessive and awkward. At that point, I decided to request a refund and leave. The refund was provided without issue, which I appreciated. My only feedback would be that staff communication could be improved so customers are not repeatedly approached regarding the same concern, or hook me up to a lie detector at that point geez

We also checked in with her for our wristbands (this is if you park in the back). Upon entering the grounds, I was a bit confused on where each activity was located. We could have really used a map, but after walking through once, I realized it's actually small and manageable. I thought we would only stay for 2 hrs, but my 4 year old wanted to do EVERYTHING and we ended up spending 4 hours there! Our favorite was the reptile show. We were able to HOLD snakes and a gecko, something I can't say that I've done anywhere else (domestically anyways). Pro tips: - pack a lunch - bring your own soap / sanitizer (the wash stations were out of soap) - get to the reptile show early! They have to cap the number of people they let in to not scare the animals. Highly recommend if you have kids. Was well worth our $$.

She had so much fun my husband took her back when it was super hot outside too. They have a toddler section and a climbing area that has slides and bridges. My child preferred to climb. There were pools at sight but they weren't in use, probably they are open during summer, we visited during winter time. They also have a lake where you can ride the little boats and just hang out. Overall this park is pretty fun and yeah maybe is not the San Diego zoo but its another face to Tj which currently rates to the 5th most dangerous city in the world.
