I enjoy listening to the Ramiro & Pebbles morning show and hearing the Jam Scams. Akrobatik raps the Sports to the beats of "Lean Back" by Terror Squad on his 60-second "Sports Rap Up" which really cracks me up!!! Great laughs!! The "old school" at noon is really cool and I can hear jams from back in the day, many hits from the 90s when hip hop was really great. JAMN is a good hip-hop and r&b station to play in my ride while cruisin' through Southern NH and Eastern MA. read more

Well, I like hip-hop and R&B, and I live in Boston. I don't have many choices. I don't like Ramiro and his morning show. I bore quickly with all the high school like games he plays with "Crazy Chulo" or whatever, and basically he (Ramiro) just annoys me. The girls, Melissa and Pebbles are ok, and I enjoy the Sports WrapUp with Acrobatic. SAVE the jam scams. Most are NOT funny, border on being silly, and some are just downright mean. I enjoy listening more during the workday, or at ANY time Ramiro is not on the air. read more

I hate their playlist sooo much they play songs over and over and over and over and over and over oh and did i mention over again!!! its ridiculous smh like is their really noooo other songs to play?? and to make it worse they play artists that are horrible!! I like the station a lot, yeah all stations over play songs, but that's how radio works. When I was commuting to school I would flip through for the morning show, the Jam Scams are pretty funny most of the time. That's a cool draw to the station, just to laugh at the segment is a reason to turn in. I like the 5 o'clock traffic jam, they have awesome DJ's over the weekend.. I love that they have Clinton Sparks on Saturday nights, Friday nights are good too and the Vengaboys/Baka Boys on Sundays. read more

Being rather uncool, people are usually amazed to learn that this is my favorite radio station. However, there is nothing like JAMN. Ramiro and Pebbles are awesome. And I love Melissa. I like that even though these people are supposedly "cool" radio talk show people they talk about stuff like Girl Scout Cookies and camping trips. It cracks me up. Krazy Kulo is my icon. I used to do stuff like that, like when I dressed up in my mother's fur coat and played minature golf on the front lawn in the middle of August, but that was when I was a kid. If you are between 12/19 then this is the station for you. This is just as bad as 96.9. These are not "urban" stations which I prefer .

2.5 stars. Getting better and faster with introducing music that the HEAT on sirius has been playing at least a month prior. Late night tends to get more edgy and current which is good, otherwise it's the same songs over and over and over and over and over. Not impressed at all with the morning show. read more

I mainly listen for the Mix shows they play Sunday night, Saturday night, and Friday nights as well as Thursays. Overall its a decent station. i wish they'd add in more old school shows or music though. Overall I enjoy it! read more

Boston doesn't offer many radio stations by way of hiphop/R&B, so by default Jam'n is my choice more often than not. Yeah sure I hear the same 15 songs pretty much no matter what time of day I tune in, and I get pissed off when the latest Jam Scam theme song is stuck in my head... but I gotta give some respect to the morning show crew. I've never been a talk radio person, but Ramiro, Pebbles and Melissa have gotten me thru many a shitty morning commute. They get pretty good guests - just this morning they talked to Common (even though unfortunately they rarely get to play any of his stuff which is lame). Oh, and I gotta admit that I find some of the Ladies Rooms topics pretty amusing...nothing like sitting in your car in the morning listening to callers talk about what their man does that annoys them and what celeb has the nicest body! Not to mention the one minute per day fix of the only celeb gossip I have in my life... So, JAMN: here is a shout out for being some mindless talk radio I can enjoy, and helping me learn the lyrics to every number 1 hiphop song due to shear volume of times I've heard it. read more

I love JAM'N 94.5, their music and their talk shows.. but I cannot stand The Breakfast Club. I try to tolerate their morning talk show so I can listen to good music but I end up changing the station because I can't deal with their ignorance. They talk about politics and allow listeners to call in, but argue and belittle the person calling if their opinion isn't the same as their racist opinion. I wouldn't mind this if they were a little more educated in politics and current events, but the things they vocalize on the radio say otherwise! read more

Garbage radio station. They played the same song over and over. This is not a true urban station and it suffers from an identity crisis (plays too much pop). Horrible playlist. I don't know how Ramiro and Pebbles get such bad reviews. Their voices are not annoying and the banter is quick and moves at a good pace and they ARE funny. They at least make a good team. Pebbles and Melissa seem to even Ramiro out, he can seem a bit mean I guess some ppl would think. I don't really listen to it though for the music the other reviews are right. The music is bad but I think that is just a world phenomenon right now everything is audiotuned schlock so it's not their fault.
