Ive had more money spent on my mouth than ive spent in my life on my own car.. Ive been traumatized by dentists from teeth pulling under ZERO numbing and careless behavior. Ive experienced anxiety and panic attacks at every visit, to the point of tears and rescheduled visits. HOWEVER... That being said, Smart dentistry and Dr. Smart is by far the best, i no longer experience anxiety before or at visits. She gets the job done and does a wonderful job. My front teeth are beautiful and i got my smile back in time for my wedding. If you feel like something isn't right she will listen, adjust and work it out with you until you feel that its better, and she explains what and whys so you aren't left guessing. I was not very impressed. It's good that she has been trained in…read morethe LANAP procedure which is much better than the conventional flap surgery. But she doesn't use a phase contrast microscope to monitor the results of periodontal treatment. The office staff lied and said she could get samples taken to a facility that does the phase contrast microscope procedure. On the day of the actual appointment I learned that this was not the case. This dentist did not think that several 5s and 2 6s on a standardized periodontal pocket chart were bad enough to justify the use of a laser to clean out the periodontal pockets. But without taking "movies" of the gums with a phase contrast microscope we can't really know if that's true or not. The "movies" would tell us which pathogens were actually there and how quickly they were causing damage. I feel that the appointment was a complete waste of time and money.

The experience was first class and in the middle of a snow storm. Everyone else was closing early and they stayed to take care of my emergency. Would recommend them to anyone needing quality care in a family friendly office.
