In my early twenties, I underwent a painful and jarring dental procedure, which had lasting and significant implications. As a result, I was terrified of the dentist's office, and out of fear, I avoided very much necessary dental work and care for years. When it wasn't an option to avoid it any longer, I stumbled into Dr. Boudakian's office by chance, and I was met with the kindest possible care. Every single person at Bayview Village Dental, in the several years I have been a patient, is brilliant and compassionate, and an absolute dream, and I ADORE that the same wonderful practitioners are there year after year. So much care goes into the selection of support staff, and so much care is felt when you are receiving services. Without question, she is a complete perfectionist and every bit of work I've had was done meticulously. I recommend Dr. Boudakian wholeheartedly, as just the most grateful patient.

The office is clean and the staff are cheerful and really care about their patients and it shows in the details. My daughter and I are comfortable there and the office is well run by the Office Administrator named Wanda. I must add that Wanda is simple an amazing all round person, easy to talk to about any concerns reguarding the financial side of braces and everything to do with booking appointments. It is a clean, small modern office with free wifi, coffee, current magazines and bottled water. The appointment booking system is amazing here, they have email reminders and an online confirmation system. This office is fun and gives back to the community. They often host fundraising efforts such as the Holloween Candy Drop off, kids are paid $5.00 per pound of Holloween candy they hand in to Dr. Abbaszadeh and he also gives another $5.00 per pound of candy to charity. These kinds of efforts are extremely important to our family. The most important thing to note is that this office offers excellent care. Dr. Abbaszadeh is an extremely talented Orthodontist, check out the website for all his credentials-just great. For my daughter, he listens to her and appreciates her concerns. She has taken to adjusting her own 'rubber band' treatments and he seems to be supportive of that, my daughter can feel whats working and what is not. I must add here that when her 'rubber bands' run low all I have to do is call Wanda and she will pop a package of bands in the post, so we never run out-this amazes me, they have thought of everything.

While the staff was friendly and the clinic itself informational, the dentist is and was incredibly…read moretransphobic, asking me for personal information about how I came to be trans when it had nothing to do with why I was there. This clinic puts itself on a stage where it preaches a family like atmosphere with it's patients, asking you friendly questions, trying to get to know you by asking about favourite interests on it's intake form, adding confusion as to whether or not this is actually a dental practice office or if it's a hipster joint that you're registering for an ID card at. In addition to it's problematic, arrogant, self serving, & over priced dental surgeon, Dr. Botbol, they have an anesthesiologist that will call to discuss the procedure further with you and whether or not they think you're a good fit for the services this particular anesthesiologist can offer in this clinic (seeing as how it isn't an OR room). This man is just as arrogant, if not even MORE offensive in his treatment of people, going as far as to put me down into a mentally small box for having borderline personality disorder, claiming that I could wake up and be a danger to the office at one point because of the "unpredictable nature of your mood disorder." I would never, never ever, recommend anyone to this clinic. While they reign you in with false promises, they do nothing for the patient to supply & execute the process. They just layout the prices for you on multiple pieces of wasted paper, exercising their rights to charge you thousands of dollars, and saddle you with an impossible bill - all the while charming you, telling you it all with a smile on their face. After all, that's what they are all about, creating a world where everyone and anyone can smile and feel good about it. This particular clinic went so far as to goad my autism and Dr. Botbol decidedly pointed out that he was surprised I could have achieved that, as well taking it upon himself to "let me know" that I don't "present" as someone with autism. Do yourself a favour. Find a different, more welcoming & inclusive environment.

TERRIBLE!!! Worst dentist ever!!!…read more Not only is the main receptionist one of the most unfriendly people you will ever encounter, she's also on her phone all the time and ignores patients. Dr. Kay Sr should NOT be practicing anymore, he has no bedside manner, he is very abrupt, unpredictable and refuses to acknowledge his hygienists, which are more capable and knowledgeable than he is when they say to stop doing something. Took my daughter there to get her first filling done, he was late, would not listen to the hygienists, he got rude with them and my daughter and he was forcibly removed from my child after she managed to take a nice chunk of her gum out. 20 minutes he struggled with placing a metal clasp on her tooth, not once did he stop and ask if she was okay if she was comfortable. I watched as she was patient with him until it really started to hurt her through the numbing!!! And he still did not want to stop. The hygienist had to physically keep him away while we all told him to stop and to leave her alone. My daughter was visibly shaking and crying. She was terrified, her mouth was bleeding really bad at this point. The dentist didn't even notice, just kept stating 'No, I have to do this now, this has to be done now', meanwhile, we are all telling him to stay away from the child. I had to explicitly tell him in a loud stern voice that he will NOT touch my child and to step away. He sat in the chair as I cleaned my child up and removed her, and he was still saying that he had to finish the placing the clamp. I attempted to speak with the son, but he was dumbfounded and didn't even offer an apology.
