Second hand is great on the wallet and the world! I was only going in to browse this time, as I had no immediate need for anything (in fact we're just about to move, so I'm trying to purge, not gain anything else) but I was tempted by a few things still! The items were well merchandised, so you could actually shop and see everything. So many places just dump as much as possible into a space and it becomes overwhelming. You don't appreciate the specialness of any of the items when they are piled on top of one another. The owners were great, present and helpful, but let you shop and look around without hovering. They've curated a really nice space and we look forward to coming back. (Also, the prices were very reasonable considering the quality!)

We have bought multiple large items and go to their store first when looking for things, even small gifts. They take time to build relationships with their customers and make accommodations to fit their needs. We recommend them to everyone we know and have even introduce friends and families who are shopping for unique pieces of furniture or items to their store. As a midsize, borderline plus size girl, it was really easy to find clothes that actually fit. Unfortunately, we stepped inside about 35 minutes before they were going to close. Others came in after us. No one, and I mean NO ONE, spoke to us when we came in. We browsed around & a young lady came and slammed a pair of jeans in front of me on the rack. She did say "excuse me" while doing so, but the attitude was very clear. Not sure why people get so upset when they are still open. At that point, I knew I wasn't purchasing anything from that store. I had to get my son out of there, but he was still excited at some of the things he was finding. He's a teen - He doesn't pay attention to bad attitudes or poor customer service the way I do. So, he was unfazed. The longer we stayed, the more irritated that young lady looked. I walked out because he was taking too long browsing & I could feel myself getting upset by her behavior. They brought in the racks from outside & the young man did finally say "hello" to me as I was walking out. Weird! Even if he was ready for everyone to leave, he didn't show it as rudely as the young lady did. Instead of being called "Uptown Cheapskate", they should rebrand as "Uppidy, Stuck Up & Rude Cheapskate". That fits them more accurately. Needless to say, we will NEVER go back & their men's section is extremely small compared to the rest of the store. They won't see a penny of my money!

The folks here were welcoming and pleasant, and there's a restroom in the center of the shop, just ask for the key at the front desk! Outside there is a ton of garden ware, bird baths, pottery, plant stands and concrete statues. I will say this spot is a tad pricey, higher than many other antique shops I've visited, but I did see some irresistible treasures! Definitely worth a gander!!
