I was given a warm welcome and greeting when I walked in! "Let me know if I can help you find anything!" In the front of the store there was a display of Covid prevention products for sale. I picked up some hand sanitizer and a few other things there! Did I mention the gift shop? A whole corner is dedicated to Yankee Candles... I bought two jars and a car freshener too! They have some different fragrances, lots of summer scents! Other sections of the store have shelves of sports and team gear, garden, flags and housewares, jewelry, seasonal items as well as candy and toys. A great spot for unique gifts. The pharmacist came and helped me find a few other things I was looking for and was so cordial. No, there's not as much variety as those chain pharmacies, but the customer service and Mayberry feel is worth the experience!

Some nooks are organized and well appointed, other are "junky" and you'll have to dig deep to find your prize. We rummaged through a box full of toys in one of the back rooms and found some quirky Pez dispensers. The owner was a doll, and just gave them to us! So fun for a Pezhead like me! Once you think you've seen it all, you'll find another maze leading further back into this labyrinth of antiques, treasures, gifts, rustic furniture and home accessories! Like a portal to Narnia this little rail-less concrete bridge runs over a beautiful creek and connects two different worlds. We arrived at the Honeycomb Heroes cottage shop. It was a cute "sometimes cottage core" "sometimes hunting retreat" one room honey and associated product boutique shop. We rang the "Ring" doorbell to summon our "Honey Guide". He quickly retrieved our honey selection from a temperature controlled setting. (It was still warm). Don't be fooled by this rustic feel the transaction was professional, quick and conveniently they are equip to take an array of payment options. We paid cash though. With over 900 hives on site this is a great place to find VA local collected honey. We happily took our locally collected honey home to sweeten our tea and calm our Virginia allergies. The product is delicious and the price was the going rate. Highly recommend.
