The prices are kind of high, which is the only bad thing. A lot of all natural and organic food and items. It's got some pretty interesting things and you can even order a hot meal. The selection isn't as good as something like Whole Foods, but it's locally owned. Has a lot of the things you can find somewhere else cheaper. That's the bad thing about it, so if you're just looking for good prices they won't have these. Even so, there's a few things that aren't bad. The staff is fairly knowledgeable. Comparing to other stores, it seems best as a complement to other places to get groceries. Its worst thing is the prices. The good things include locally grown products, and plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians.

If the roll you're looking for isn't there, just ask one of the chefs to make it for you. (It's usually better that way too, since it's more likely to be fresh.)

The first time I shopped here they were out of the Lion 's Mane but I did get some Oyster Mushrooms. They rehydrate well and have an awesome shelf life. I stop through here every time I travel between Chicago and Springfield. But when I came back through last, I bought 2 lbs of Lion's Mane and the Lion's Mane tincture. Can I just say the Lion's Mane by far is my favorite...and the service is great. Not only did I buy more but I bought enough to share with family members that are newer to mushrooms than I am. At Thrive Mushrooms, a family owned business, they are all friendly even willing to ship if necessary. But I if I can get to them before the mushrooms can get to me, guess what I'm on the highway. For such a big name store you can never find nothing because there is nothing on the shelf. It's absolutely Ludacris to go in there to try to shop for other people and then have to tell them I'm sorry they don't have this and they don't have that and this is how it went yesterday it happened this way many times before but now I thought I need to get this out there. I don't know why that store keeps in doors open to be honest with you. It is so poorly managed. Do they not have people that stocks the shelves do they not have people go around and check to see what needs to be restocked this is not the first time this is always at this Meyer. But now go to the Meijer in Valparaiso and it's a whole different story. It is so wonderful to shop there because their shelves are stacked that place is in order. What a damn shame for such a wonderful name, meijers and have such a crappy empty shelf store. I will avoid that store as much as I can, and I will encourage people to go to Valparaiso to the meijers there are go to Kroger in Laporte because I'll tell you they've come a long way and their shelves are stocked.
