Because Arthur, the owner, is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever done business with. I rented an apt in Huron village through him and in short order realized the place had many issues from electrical, plumbing, to structural and appliances. He was not only the rental agent but also acting as the building manager. To say this was a slum lord situation is spot on. Any time I brought a well justified issue to his attention I was met with consternation and attitude. It got to the point that, in order to avoid his unwelcome toxicity, I would just deal with the issues myself. I was so happy to be out from under this horrible excuse of a human being. AVOID!!

Went to a viewing with John Tringale in Medford and it was awful. The house was fine but he was the…read moremost unprofessional realtor I have ever met. The only thing he did was lead us into the house. He didn't have a key and we had to wait 20 minutes for the current tenant to arrive to the house, so I can't even say he was good for unlocking the door. We walked in and he eagerly interacted with the current tenant, making small talk, catching up. He mostly ignored the potential renters (us). When he wasn't schmoozing with the current tenant, he was answering calls on his cell phone, and MAKING calls, completely unavailable for questions from us about the rooms and rental property. When we finally caught him between his phone calls, we asked questions to which he didn't know the answer, or to which he answered vaguely. I suppose that he treated us in a condescending and informal manner due to our age (early 20s) but that does not justify being unprofessional on the job. No matter how young we look, we were there to do business and I didn't get the impression that he was trying very hard to rent the house out to us. I loved the house but I will hold out for other apartments shown by other realtors just to avoid paying John the finder's fee and giving his company business. You have been warned.

Knowing I was relocating under difficult circumstances, she still rented me a unit in a property up for sale. The broker said she didn't know it was on the market, but if that's true she 100% knew when she continued to show units to prospective tenants in the following months. It's been nothing but uncertainty from the start and really sucks I gave this broker money that I'll really need in August when I have to move again. New owners are now 'upgrading' the property to eliminate heat and power inclusive rent and putting us through invasive electrical renovations (among other things) while we literally pay them for the inconvenience. The broker also didn't tell me my neighbor chain smokes inside which is obvious when you enter the unit. Just be honest. Bottom line is I'm pretty upset having paid that $1,525 broker fee for all this stress when I could have held off for a better apartment at a better price in a nicer spot considering current rents. I can't imagine how much happier I'd be. Please have some empathy in the future. One star because I got an apartment. It wasn't all lies.

With the competitiveness of South Boston, he advised us to offer a higher price which most people would feel questionable about. However, we trusted him and I'm glad we listened! I would wait days for answers and had to follow up multiple times just to get basic information. When we scheduled a tour, she didn't even confirm the showing until we reached out two hours beforehand. She confirmed 3:15 p.m., but we told her we were driving from out of state and traffic would put us closer to 3:30. When we got there, she acted like we were late and told us we would have to reschedule. The showing itself was just as bad. She showed up in a graphic sweatshirt, didn't greet us professionally, and barely explained anything about the apartment or application process. When we asked normal questions, she was dismissive and impatient, even sending texts like "..." as if we were bothering her. Since she gave us almost no useful information, we had to contact management ourselves. The application process was where it got even worse. After we completed the lease, she told us on 4/20 that we needed co-signers, then disappeared for the rest of the day because she was off for "the holiday." She was rude and unhelpful to our co-signers, including my friend's mother, whose first language is not English. I asked to speak with her by phone so we could get on the same page and I could help walk our stressed-out co-signers through the process. She refused and said, "I don't need anything from you. If the co-signers need anything, they can contact me directly." Our co-signers were already overwhelmed because of her lack of guidance, and she still couldn't be bothered to help. The next day, she gave us an ultimatum to get the new paperwork signed by 2 p.m. or she would refund our deposits and pull the application. When I told her to go ahead and pull it (because I didn't want her getting the commission for doing NOTHING), she suddenly claimed there were other pending applications and that we wouldn't be able to reapply. We called management directly, and they confirmed we were the only application........ Overall, Michela made this process SO STRESSFUL than it needed to be. She was slow to respond, dismissive, rude, unhelpful, and misleading, and SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I would absolutely not recommend working with her, even our co-signers commented on how horrid it was working with her.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I would suggest that when there's showing happening with another agent and when other people are sending applications, that agent could at least notify their colleagues. Also update all information on a timely manner. If multiple applications have been sent and being reviewed, how could another agent still be scheduling tours with other potential renters? This is not making any sense, unless someone was skipping the process. If the current agent could inform the renter that someone was ahead of the process and the unit could be gone any second, then the renter won't have high expectations. Those are some suggestions that could improve future renters' experience without upsetting them.
