He charge out of the country patient with great fee and he is also willing provide prescription such as a severe jet lag person patient myself. Three stars for the doctor. He's nice and does his job. However his staff is horrible. Apparently there is no difference between walking in and making an appointment. The only reason to come here is if you need Chinese speakers. I always come in before my appointment time and I don't get to see the doctor until at least a 90-minute wait time. The receptionists are rude and don't have any customer service skills. Great doctor, poor management. If they had better staff I would recommend this office to my Chinese speaking family members, however at this moment I would not. read more

I only used to come here because of three basic criteria: it's close to my house, they had better hours than most, and they accepted my then-crappy insurance. I've sinced moved out of the area and got myself better health insurance so I am thrilled to be done with them! The front desk staff is ok, but it seems like the head receptionist is the guardian of the gate and she is in perpetual miserable cow mode. My mother and I both (politely) complained to our respective doctors about her rudeness but all we got was a half-ass apology. I used to see Dr. Raymond Li, who is good, but not good enough for me to ever come back here again. A few other older doctors in the practice are condescending pricks (what else is new, but I HAVE met doctors with great bedside manner) and a waste of your time and copay to bother seeing. The only decent human being in that place is a the PA/nurse. Bless her heart, she should take her skills elsewhere. I got injured on my lower back and it supposed to file workers comp. It didn't go through for some reason. I requested for 2 weeks off, the Dr. denied it and only approved for a week, told me to come back for the follow up next week plus some pain killers.(SCAM) On top of that, no x-ray, no MRI referral. Asked for doctor's note, he told me he ran out of notepad and told me to come back the next day for it.(SCAM) Tried to have him to fill out forms for my job, the front desk told me that I need a visit for that.(SCAM) I said SCAM because they kept charging me co-pays and my insurance. My total insurance and co-pays cost me close to $2000 for the phony visits. I I'll never go to them again. read more

I don't know how this place stay in business absolutely bunch of crooks..... the insurance company should really look into the shady business this place is conducting. Sister went for a yearly body check up and when the result came back, this place told her unless she pay $30 on top of the absurd amount they claim from her insurance company the doctor won't discuss the results with her. And she did others test as well and was told she have to pay $30 for each report of the test she did. And when she ask for a copy of the blood work result they doctor say in a very rude tone " do you even know how to read the result". I mean are you f***king kidding me, yes she does not know how to read it but she can find a proper doctor to read it....STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A THIRD CLASS CITIZEN. read more

There is always a long wait, appointment or not. The people here always seem flustered and in a hurry to get to the next patient. Other reviews point out the bad receptionists, but they've never been rude to me, just very straightforward despite my limited Chinese. The younger doctor(Li) here was very nice, but he spent the entire session giving me life and career advice after he asked about my schooling and future. Well intentioned, but should probably focus more on the health of the patient. read more

Dr. Li is my fave!!! Really caring and patient with my questions and concerns. He's really knowledgeable and genuinely wants to help. He's also pretty efficient and friendly! Try to get the first appointment so you can be seen before the walk-in patients. The nurse is also courteous and overall professional. EDIT: I reached out to file a compliant against this doctor and the practice to the new company RENDERCARE a few days after this incident a year ago. Here is the recall from a woman from RENDERCARE who reached out to me. (even after a year I still remember horrible service they gave honestly tells you a lot about this company who just wants money)) The lady apologized and said that the doctor will be getting lessons on customer service and sneered "what more do you want. An apology from the doctor?" (first of rude, isn't this suppose to be an apology call?) when I asked if this is the best response they have to the disrespect my mom and I received from the doctor. of course I said I wanted a direct apology from the doctor (you asked whether is for jokes or not) but she refused and sneered that this is the best they will do and then ended the call. If you want to get experience from a place that sees you as dollar signs and not an actual person I recommend this place. Also I didn't mention in my previous review. If there is zero star, I would give it to this clinic (18th Ave one). Dr. Li, I'm sorry for the low rating but your receptionists are so rude. They have disrespected my parents so many times. The two receptionists only treat people who speak Cantonese with respect. They yelled at people like my parents who speak Mandarin. Sometimes they purposely pushed their schedule/registration back without any explanations and forced them to wait for hours. Obviously, my parents cannot even ask the receptionist any question otherwise they will be yelled at for asking questions. I really wish the management team could see this review. This is a typical Chinese clinic: - ill mannered staff - chaotic wait time I expected all of those before walking into this clinic. However, they far exceed my worst expectations by telling me they will not accept my walk-in at 4:29 when I called 2 days prior and the staff instructed me to come in between 4-5. These chinese female staff are under qualified employees who should acquire some sort of customer service training. They are only rude to chinese patients and especially seniors. Wish there was a bureau who oversees medical clinic practices and complaints. I would send a formal letter in a heartbeat. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!! Dr Fufu He is the most unprofessional Doctor I have ever met and the entire receptionist group that supports him. Basically fill them and Bill them attitudes. Do they have any manners ? Nope. They legitimately are the lowest quality of doctors you can find. My father who is 62, blind , deaf , has diabetes , high cholesterol , high blood pressure and allergies. He needs constant care and needs to refill meds every three months. He has Medicaid and center plan insurance. Since his insurance recently changed to center plan, this group has been nothing but a headache. Recently , I booked my father to Dr Robin which was about 10 days ahead of time. My father complained his meds were running out and booked himself an appointment with a diff doctor 3 days ahead ( which is much closer than my schedule ). I called the receptionist making sure this Doctor is under his new plan. They confirmed it was ok for him to come in. Guess what! On the busiest days of a weekend -- my dad was turned away. The receptionist said this Doctor was not under his plan and since it was a Sunday, they couldn't confirm with the insurance company. Needless to say my father couldn't get to his meds. I called the manager Doris - on a weekday. I asked her why this happened. She lied and said that it was my father who didn't want to see the doctor. My father might be blind and deaf but guess what -- my Brother was with him who translated !!! What a joke of a group. Until I made an argument, Doris decides to squeeze my father in the day I complained. She finally agrees my father was able to see any doctor in that group. We were stuck there for 2 hours. Side note ** I noticed when they place people in diff rooms. The doctor doesn't know who was waiting first or last. A patient could be waiting in room 5, but he should be seeing room 9. The staff are very disorganized. My father finally sees the doctor, I told the doctor about my complaint regarding his staff and insurance issues. His answer - belittled and complained that the insurance my father has is complicated. Not all the receptionist understands. He also said - I'm only squeezing in your father today because he's being a nice person and he has a right to reject him. Oh ok. So my father who has been your patient -- who needs medicine , that your dumbass receptionist fcked up on and it's The patients fault. Wow. Wow. Tell me this is a nightmare and I'm going to wake up soon. Nope. It's real. Do not attempt to see any doctors from this place. The staff are the dumbest of the dumb. Terrible experience, worst customer service ever. They treat patients with no respect. Receptionist has extremely bad attitude, they will either ignore you or respond with unfriendly tone. I had an 10:45am appointment with empty stomach but doctor didn't see me until 1pm. The waiting time is worst than ER. They dont see patients according schedule. You may be sitting there for few hours, people comes behind you will jump into the exam room, no one will answer your question, or inform you the length of waiting time. they will only tell you "I don't know, is up to the doctor". When I finally got to see the doctor, he said I am too aggressive. No one ever apologize for the long wait due to unpredicted case, instead I got blame to speak up for myself. If you plan to see doctor here, plan at least 5 hour waiting time or you have to be very aggressive plus apologize to the doctor than may able able to see doctor in 2 hours. read more

I selected this clinic as it's close to my house. However, I waited more than an hour after my appointment time because the receptionist kept to arrange the existing patients who may go to the clinic a lot in front of me. Dr. Li was not careful to read the annual physical check report and missed a very important abnormal factor on the report. He is not knowledgeable as well. My husband asked a simple question that what type of vegetable he could take if there is a vitamin D deficiency, and the doctor couldn't answer the question. I have called in the morning to confirm an appointment @6pm to see my blood report, I had arrived at the clinic 30 mins early and the front desk as me to sign in and wait...... 90 mins have past my appointment time and yet I'm still here waitting, so I asked the nurse what are the difference with making appointment , walk in , doctor visiting etc... Worst experience ever... I am in such bad luck! I got sick on the week of my wedding? Being only 4 days away from my wedding, I am having sore throat and fever. I woke up 6am this morning and couldn't wait to 10am so i could go see a doctor. I arrived Jian Lian Medical Group on 18th ave 72 st at 10:17am. (They open at 10am) I was told by the reception that doctor was fully booked today. I was informed to come back in two hours and doctor will see me. I understand that because I didn't have any appointment, it makes sense that doctor should take patients with appointments as priority. Despite of feeling dizzy and painful, i agreed to come back later. I came back at 12pm. The reception told me that doctor was still busy with other patients and I should check again in 2 hour. I came back at 3pm, I was told doctor is still busy with patients who has appointments and she can't give me an estimate how much longer I have to wait. Maybe it was my fever! I was so in heat. I am not here for annual check up. I am here because i am sick.This place is so unprofessional. They should've tell me from the beginning that doctor won't be able to see me today. They are not the only doctor office in the area. It's not easy for people to take a day off to come visit a doctor. I just wastes my entire day. I have no more patience to wait any longer. I went to other doctor office in the area and was told its too late for them to take walk in customers. I could've gone to other places this morning if they were being honest about the wait time. This clinic would get no stars at all if possible. Whatever appointment time you set, you are still expected to wait at least an hour because there is only one doctor. The receptionists are rude and the service is inefficient. They are especially rude to people like me who prefer to speak English as opposed to Cantonese. My doctor visits are covered under my insurance but for some reason these receptionists always have a problem figuring it out and once they even denied me service because apparently I "wasn't covered." When I called my insurance to confirm my coverage, they told me that they were shocked that the receptionist would just make something like that up and tell me I wasn't covered when clearly my doctor visits were definitely covered. A clinic is supposed to be a place where people seek medical attention, and when you mistreat people who aren't feeling well in the first place, it's just a bad reflection of the service; a clinic is supposed to be staffed by kind people who care about your wellbeing, not attitude infested receptionists. Please try to find another clinic; it's honestly a waste of your time to wait one hour for a 15 minute doctor visit. read more
