The lack of communication between these two offices is unbelievable for businesses that are supposed to work together, and the patients are the ones who pay for it. Today, my husband waited over an hour for a follow-up appointment after a procedure that left him with a severe infection and bruising from his jaw down to his sternum. The doctor herself said she'd never seen anything like it. After waiting all that time, we were told she had "forgotten" to see him before starting another procedure and that we'd need to keep waiting while she found time to step away. There was no apology and no regard for the fact that people have lives and schedules outside of sitting in a waiting room. This wasn't a one-time issue. No follow-up was ever scheduled after his surgery until complications forced the matter. At his pre-op appointment, no pre-op instructions were given at all. They took payment and sent us on our way. We had to call the day before surgery to find out what he was supposed to do. The financial side isn't much better. They push CareCredit instead of offering reasonable payment options, even for expensive procedures. I've been a patient here for over 10 years, and the difference between then and now is night and day. A few weeks ago, I showed up for a routine cleaning that had been scheduled six months in advance. The hygienist asked why I was there, I said a cleaning, and then she told me that wasn't what my chart said. Somehow, another patient's information had been put into my chart. After waiting over an hour for them to sort it out, I was ready to leave and reschedule. While I was already irritated, the owner's wife decided it was a good time to tell me she knew how to "cure" my vitiligo. Aside from being completely outside her scope of practice, it was insensitive and unnecessary. When I eventually came back for my cleaning, the hygienist was rude, rough, and kept mumbling under her breath. She even told me I was being too sensitive. The cleaning was so aggressive that another provider later asked if I brushed or flossed too hard because my gums were irritated. What used to be a great dental office now feels disorganized, dismissive, and more concerned with collecting payments than providing good patient care. I can't recommend it.

Dr. Wilmer suggested I get a wisdom tooth pull even though it was not bothering me at almost 50…read moreyears old, during a routine cleaning. I went and got it pulled and had problems ever since! I haven't eaten on that side of my mouth for two years. I go to see him months after the pull and he tells me " it looks like whoever pulled the tooth cracked the tooth beside it" so he sends me to his friend (affiliate) she tells me there is no crack but she sees a cavity and has to do a root canal. I refuse the root canal because I showed no cavity on X-ray. So, I go to another dentist NOT affiliated with them and he tells me he sees NO cavity and NO crack. My old insurance was running out ironically around the time my tooth started hurting so I went back to him because he was close and really wanted to see what he says this time. I gave him a recap of everything that happened and of course this time he sees no cavity or crack. I had a cleaning scheduled, again trying to use coverage, but the billing lady called and gave me a price larger than expected so I questioned it. And in rude form ,as she always is ,she gives attitude and tells me if I have two insurances by law she has to charge me both deductibles even if one covers it. I checked with three other dentists and they say that's not true. So, I cancel the appointment. I will be calling the dental board to find out this information as well. I guess this office doesn't believe in patients advocating for themselves ,because after I get a letter stating they will not service me any longer. What a joke! I wasn't coming back there anyhow!!! I was using that insurance up quick that expired in 2 days for a cleaning. Now that my new insurance has started I was definitely looking for a dentist and office that doesn't give bad advice, refer to affiliates , and respect their patients' rights! First visit for me, and it went very well…read more The offices was easy to find, lots of parking and the office was very clean and modern. The equipment was also very modern. Although my very kind hygienist had some issues with her xray machine, she deftly and professionally got me moved to another room and we got it done in no time. I am a very fearful/anxious dental patient, so feeling comfortable and relaxed without drugs is pretty darn awesome. This first visit was just a check up and cleaning, and I feel comfortable going back should I need further dental care. I did inquire about some kind of sedative should I need it for any future and more intensive treatments, and was told this was an option. Since I went there very close to Christmas time, I was lucky enough to see the totally beautiful holiday decor! It really made the whole experience feel that much more cozy. Check-in was a breeze, since they emailed me all the documents I needed to fill out ahead of time. Check out was also quick and easy. They accepted our dental insurance (you'll have to check with them about your own) and I like how my hygienist was conscientious about asking me what additional services I'd be interested in, and whether or not these would be covered.
