Very rude staff. I've gone here for years, typically have always been okay and nothing special. My last visit in particular was horrible. Ashley (the receptionist) was rude and had a nasty tone of voice from the start. The Dentist did his job and same with the lady before him. I've never wrote a review in my life but I immediately cancelled my future appointment. As someone who owns multiple businesses, this isn't the kind of employee you want at the door. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Hund's for over ten years. I was diagnosed with Stage III Metastatic Melanoma about 5 years ago. I was not able to get X-Rays due to the radiation levels. Dr. Hund asked me to get a letter from my Oncologist stating the dangers of X-Rays for my body. My Oncologist wrote him a letter and he subsequently dropped me as a patient, and he did so by sending me a letter. No phone call, didn't say anything to me in the office...an impersonal letter. X-Rays generate money and apparently I did not. I am a veteran (23 years of service) and I am a cancer survivor. Dr. Hund does not care about any of that or about the people behind the patient. He discriminated against me and I think it is an egregious fact of Dr. Hund's ethical and moral code. Patient beware! read more

She declined to see a child who was less than 5 minutes late for an appointment with an empty waiting room. I have now been to Dr. Hund's office several times since moving to Mount Pleasant about 2 1/2 years ago, including for treatment on an infected tooth and placement of a crown. Dr. Hund had been recommended by a neighbor, and I thank her for that. People don't usually think of their visits to a dentist as pleasant, just necessary. just moved here from chicago couple months ago. came in for a teeth cleaning/check up. serena the hygienist was super friendly, explained everything thoroughly, and the teeth cleaning was not uncomfortable at all. dr hund took his time as well in explaining source of sensitivity and gave me options as well. i didnt feel like they were out to get your money but looking out for their patients. i also didnt feel hurried as i did in the chicago dental world b/c they have so many patients to see. i recommend them based on this first experience !! read more

As much as it pains me (yep) to say nice things about a dentist, I really have to recommend Dr. Hund and his entire staff. Finding a new dentist when you move is hard enough, but having to find a new dentist who will deal with your dental fear/paranoia after you've finally broken in your old dentist can seem impossible. I have now been through regular check ups, a crown replacement, and dealing with a broken tooth with Dr. Hund. At all times, he (and everyone else in the office) was kind, patient, and understanding. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Hund and the Wando Family Denistry Practice. From the first phone call to set up the appointment, I had a length and nice conversation with Sam. Which was a great experience for someone who has been historically afraid of the dentist since childhood. The insurance specialist was really invested with explaining my benefits and cost regarding my treatment plan. He identified the issue, gave me some options, and was able to give me a prescription that would help until I got to my regular dentist. Excellent service. The entire staff was friendly.
