Jared is a masterclass in unprofessionalism and misconduct. Highly recommend not tarnishing your image as a client with such incompetent counsel. I had been engaged with him and his firm directly by of his clients who is an incredible business professional. It took his team 11 days to get back to me after I responded to there email 60 seconds later on the 7th of August. Today they insisted no check will be released to me until I show up to the Manhasset office. I show up with no one to be found. Therefore I call Jared on the cell number in the email. After expressing the inconvenience and delayed time frame that could have been handle 11 days ago, he proceeded to tell me "I'm not his client" and "tough" with profane language and curse words added in. As a private equity professional who manages a few billion, I'd like to think I've had enough professional interactions with some of Wall Street and the worlds largest firm's and their partners. I continued to tell Jared I do not appreciate his French and would appreciate professional professionalism, and he continued to berate me saying that he's sorry I'm not smart enough to know a document needed to be notarized or engage with my own attorney's to know that. I Would highly recommend the best image of potential future clients towards who this office engages with on their behalf, you do not sign with them and look elsewhere. For something is a little as a release and wire/check such unprofessionalism and verbal abuse is not tolerable. I totally agree to the last person commenting on this. I was recommended by my real estate broker and oh boy!!! Jared has anger management issues and he does not know how to communicate with his clients professionally. He gets angry pretty fast with his clients who paid HIM to do the required job. Also.. the lingering $250 paralegal fees adding on to the bills the night before closing is absurd. Our initial cost for closing was $2500 and ended up paying him $3750 .. Get some other lawyer who will do your job just as fine and LESS drama. read more

Apparently Jared continues ,through present, to have anger mgmt issues. Sellers do not use him. He communicates through email only and puts your transaction on the back burner. When I called him out over the "delays" which should not have happened and tried to get him moving, he cursed at me and fired me. As a woman I believe he talked down to me and is chauvinistic as well. I never used foul language toward him. I will never get over this treatment. Jared Beschell fired me. My mechanics wife is an attorney and told me to offer him half of his very high fee(which happened to be her total fee) for work done and she would finish the closing to make it more of a happy transaction. He was so mean and unprofessional he left me in tears. When I called him back and told him i accept him breaking the verbal contract he said he would slap a lien on my property for his full fee. After paying for an attorney, they sent a paralegal to handle my closing who left before I received my net proceeds and added additional cost ,when an attorney wasnt present at the closing. Shop around. You can get much better service for half his fee . Aside from receiving my checks(which should have been a happy event)---alone at the closing in which no one spoke english , I was left hurt and angry about the money I paid for the treatment I received. Negative stars...selling is not rocket science for attorneys. You simply need to find one who will communicate properly and push hard for title clearings and closings. Not this firm. read more

Wow I wish I had read these reviews before I hired Jared! I had a similarly bad experience with him. He was so rude...making me feel bad for asking questions and besides that I was left with $425 additional fees above my all inclusive flat rate agreement! He didn't bother saying anything, he just added the fees to my closing statement and hoped I wouldn't notice! When I questioned the extra charges he said I should be happy he didn't charge more. I engaged Mr. Beschel upon the recommendation of my broker. In my opinion, Mr. Beschel delayed in helping me resolve the issues that arose during my closing. He instead pushed my matter to paralegals. It wasn't until 3 months passed and the buyers were considering backing out of the deal that he began to be actively involved. After my house closed, I reviewed what happened with some other real estate lawyers to make sure I was being fair in my negative opinion. They all said that the issues I encountered were standard. The last straw was when he added $250 to the final bill (for his legal fee) without telling me. I wasn't really concerned with the amount, just the fact that he failed to at least notify me that I was going to be charged extra. I sent him a polite email highlighting my concern and his response was angry, irate and in my opinion as a client unprofessional. He told me he had spent a ridiculous amount of time on my closing, I was lucky to be charged what I was charged, and I should be on my knees thanking him for his help. Very nasty. Jared does not like to answer his phone, has his paralegal get back to you, (hopefully) after numerous tries and charges much higher than the going rate for a real estate lawyer. If attorneys were superheros than the only thing missing from Jared Beschel & Associates are the capes!! I don't know how they do it, but, within seconds of my calling, emailing or texting they were back in touch with me immediately. Jared even answered 3 consecutive calls I made during a huge snow storm while shoveling snow from his driveway. You just don't find that level of sincerity anywhere! It's outstanding, truly! Yes, I had A LOT of questions- I was buying my first home and EVERY question, regardless of how big or small, was always explained to me respectfully and thoroughly. Jarred and his associate John (John is fabulous too!!) have patience beyond belief and guided us every step of the way.
