Let me start this off by saying, Andres and the agency as a whole were wonderful. I even brought along my family and had them switch to their office. They truly did offer substantial savings. That does not relate to why I'm leaving one star. Admittedly, I'm not the best customer. I'm a single mom and sometimes struggle to make ends meet and pay not always on the due date. With that said, they have an associate (Natalie Wohlers) who called me and was helping answer some billing questions. She failed to hang up in time when leaving a voicemail and proceeded to embarrassingly talk about me to her colleagues which I captured all on recording. I was humiliated! She did call to apologize and provide an explanation, but that doesn't repair the relationship or the emotions that were felt after the shock factor. I would expect so much more from someone in a customer service role and I truly hope other clients do not receive the same disrespect even if it is behind closed doors. read more

I've have been with Sate Farm for years and I have never expereienced the level of customer service that I recieved today from Natalie Wholers. She listend to me, called the tow contractor and stayed online to help resolve the tow fee issue. She really went to bat for me as a long time customer. She really made me feel apprecitated and valued as a customer. Because of her care, it sealed me staying State Farm. She deserves some kind of raise or promotion! Back story: Had a bad customer service experience with another state farm office (Lisa Dobbs) so I decided to switch. First impression: I went directly to office to request office change and I should of probably gone with my gut feeling. Lady at front desk reception had this angry look on her face even after I smiled and said hello. Once inside I mentioned that I was looking to set up account and it was like Christmas morning to everyone that heard me. Once I mentioned I already had an account the mood changed drastically. OK. No big deal right? I work in sales and I understand that it's a commission based environment. I know they'rere in it to set up new accounts and maximize the commission. Let's keep it moving... I did what I needed to do to switch my account over and got an email welcoming me to their agency and inviting me to call them. How nice! I replied and said thank you and that I wanted them to review my accounts and give me the discount double check treatment. I don't know that I got the discount double check treatment but I certainly got treated. I had mentioned to them, when I visited the office, that I was in process of buying a house and wanted to inquire about loan rates as well. I sent my email requesting my account review and before I could even say discount double check I received an email stating I was maxed out on my discounts but that if I purchased a home and got it through state farm bank that I would get additional discounts. How convenient!? Did I mention that I was previously advised that because of a claim I filed previously I didn't qualify for additional discounts but that as soon as that dropped off I can get a higher discount on my policies. The way the information was communicated was poor and just focused on getting a new policy set up. Conclusion: Mula's office may or may not have been correct in their assessment of any additional discounts but they definitely give the impression that they are just thirsty to sign up new accounts. Dealing with this Agency has been an absolute nightmare. I was looking to change my auto and renters insurance, so I did a quote request online. The online quote was outrageous, but I received a call from Michael the next day who offered me a great deal, so I took it. Michael was great when I first spoke to him, but after he had me as a customer, it was all down hill from there. Right after I hung up with him, he sent me a few documents to sign and send back via e-mail, which I immediately did. I noticed that he had my vehicle lender incorrectly listed, so I emailed him the correct info. I thought all was well at that point, until I received a letter from State Farm about a month later, stating that they haven't received my signed paperwork and that my policy was about to be cancelled due to this. I immediately reached out to Michael, but received no response. After a couple of days, I reached out directly to Jared, who apparently runs this agency. Jared was very apologetic, which I appreciated. He got everything handled, and I went on with my business. About a month later, I noticed that there was something incorrectly listed on my policy online. One of my coverage's was listed as being covered up to $25, and not $25,000. I immediately reached out to Michael and Jared, but received no response from either of them. At this point, I started to look for a new insurance company, as they obviously don't care about their customers enough to even send them a little acknowledgement of the issues I presented to them. If I ever needed to file a claim, who knows what would have happened. I contacted the Agency and spoke with Miranda, who is their office manager. Miranda said that she had to get approval to cancel my policies, which she said she would do and I would get a call back once it's all set. After not hearing anything for a few days, I decided to call the 800 number and bypass the agency all together. The person I talked to there called the agency and spoke to Miranda (who always answers the phone), who told him that she mailed the cancellation papers for me to sign a couple of day's ago, which to this day, I still haven't received. She eventually emailed me the papers, which I immediately signed and send back to her. A couple of weeks later, I received a letter in the mail from state farm, stating that my renters policy was cancelled, but it didn't mention anything about my auto policy. I waited another week or so, but still never received my auto cancellation notice, so I reached out to Miranda again, and she agreed to look into it. A bit after that, I finally received a notice that my auto policy was cancelled, and that if I was entitled to a refund, that it would be deposited into my bank account shortly. Being that you pay for a month in advance, and the cancellation was effective a couple of weeks before my next payment was due, I was expecting a refund. Another couple of weeks went by, and I never received a refund. I reached out to Miranda again, and she stated that I wasn't due a refund because the policy was cancelled too close to my next draft date. This made absolutely no sense, so I called state farm directly. They called the agency, to which Miranda told them that I wasn't entitled to a refund. I demanded to speak to a supervisor, which told me that it looked like I should have received a refund, but they would have to speak to the billing department to see why I haven't. I received a call back and they said that I wasn't entitled to a refund, but couldn't give me a reason as to why. I demanded to speak to someone directly in the billing department, so she patched me over to them. I can't remember whom I spoke with, but she basically told me that I wasn't entitled to refund because there were added "fees" and "charges" that ate up the refund owed. She couldn't tell me what those fees were for, or even how much they were. I thanked her for the info and hung up, obviously not pleased. I'm in the process of contacting the Georgia Insurance Commissioner and State Farm corporate offices. All of this boils down to the Agency, which is extremely unorganized, doesn't care at all about it's customers after they take your money, and refuse to give you back any money if you happen to cancel. I would HIGHLY recommend staying away from this Agency. read more

I've have yet the WORST expirece with this office. I've over paid this office more than $500 to stop my policy from expiring because the Agent as well as the employees refuse to be available when I call to make my payment. Every month I have to call and fight with this office about what I owe. I will be reporting to the BBB. This experience has been the biggest migraine ever! I should have listened to the other google reviews before dealing with this State Farm office. I have dealt with State Farm in other states and have had great experiences so I do not understand why this office is so incompetent. It took about 15 phone calls to get a simple car and renters insurance set up and after that, I have had to call in every month for them to fix my bill. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with any insurance company; yes, worse than Geico or Progressive could ever be. I cancelled my renter's policy with them but they are still billing months later. This review is after emailing back and forth, calling and contacting State Farm customer several times! They made the policy inactive but did not cancel the payment portion. Despite the tone of this review, I have not been rude in email or over the phone with the staff here but they have consistently ignore requests to look into this matter stating over and over that the policy is showing inactive. I'm not sure how it happened but it has and now they aren't answering the phone. This makes me not want to deal with State Farm at all. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Statefarm insurance is not bad but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find a different local office. These people are so incredibly unprofessional, and just plain bad at their job. I went back and forth for 7 weeks trying to get an auto insurance policy through them, everytime they would call me asking for something they had forgotten to ask me for before, or they had lost the copy of a license I had already sent, etc, etc... (When I finally switched to Geico they had my policy completed in about 30 min!). I somehow managed to keep my patience for those 7 weeks and continue to use them, however for the next 4 consecutive months my bill ALWAYS changed due to a new "policy update", first $95, then $117, then $126 (you get the jist). Then I tried to cancel, and low and behold they were incapable of doing that so they continued to autodraft from my account. By this point I was expecting this so I had emptied my account, otherwise I would be afraid I wouldn't be getting my money back ever. Corporate won't be able to help you too much because everything they do still has to go through your local office. Like I said Statefarm isn't a bad insurance company but DO NOT use Jared Mula's office. read more

My father has always used State Farm so I just went with his agent when I started driving. As I got older I tried to branch off and work with the trendy cheaper brands. I have to say you get what you pay for. I have always had great service with THIS State Farm agency. Jared himself came out and got me settled with my policy (at work) as I struggled to get into the office. I was referred to him by a friend. Heather and Lynn are always very easy to talk to and get answers from. I pay thru ach debit and never have to worry about issues. As a mother with two teenage drivers I am grateful to know that we have great coverage as well as roadside assistance etc. My father's agent sold their agency and he was experiencing some issues with the change over and Jared's team took on the challenge to clean up a mess. Most recently my car was totaled, I was not at fault, however the other insurance company drug their feet and did not help in any way, nor were they accessible as I was given the run around. State Farm came to my rescue quickly and made sure I had the documents I needed as well as a rental til I bought my new car. (which they of course now insure as well. This group provides outstanding customer service and if they don't have the answer they will quickly do the research and get back to you. Thank you for being better than the rest! Jen P read more

This is the WORST WORST (did I say WORST) insurance company I have ever dealt with. I'm convinced that I'm not a fan of agent-based insurance companies...especially the ones that are assign to you based on your location. Cmon we're in the Information Age. I have had issues trying to speak to someone about my policy since Day 1. I switched from Geico and regret every moment of it. If you want an agency where absolutely no clue of what they are doing, ESPECIALLY the agent Mr. Mula, then this is your place. My family has had State Farm since the 60's...so when it came time for me to get insurance, State Farm was my first choice. Over the years the policies have grown, autos, home, rental properties and life policies on myself and the family. My previous agent was excellent. I've never had a problem with State Farm. The rates aren't the cheapest, but they're close, and the service had always been excellent...that is..until I moved my policies to this agent when I moved to Atlanta. This guy is an embarrassment to State Farm...I have to wonder what they were thinking when they GAVE him his agency. Obviously he knew someone in the company. I have witnessed his staff talking down to people on the phone and in person...even heard a staff member call corporate to ask a question, and then get mouthy with the person on the other end of the phone. Completely disrespectful and unprofessional. They can't even answer even the most basic questions about any of my lines of insurance and if I leave a message, I never get a call back. If I go in, I'm treated as if I'm inconveniencing them by asking a question or dropping off a payment. I'll be moving my policies to another agency...this past week was it for me. The agent I am moving to actually referred to Mr. Mula's agency as "a joke," so obvioulsly they don't have the respect of their peers. I've been nothing but nice with them, respectful of their time and I know it's a busy profession. If I don't get a call back when I need an answer, I don't fly off the deep end and run to write a review online. But when it happens time after time and I go in and am ignored, and disrespected myself...well that's the straw that broke the camels back. If you're lookin' at State Farm, stay away from this guy and if you're currently there, I'd look at moving your policies elsewhere. He's lucky he has the State Farm name behind him, otherwise, he'd be out of business in a month. read more

The customer service here is HORRIBLE!!!!! Each time I called them they were not knowledgeable, they want to argue and be disrespectful then "document" the frustrations of the customers instead of the lack of professionalism by the agents. So I decided to move my policy to agency closer and kinder to me. When I called to confirm my info being transferred, Lynn H Pruitt the office manager asked why and I stated the above, then she begins to tell me "well I am reading the notes here and I show you have dropped the "f" bomb on the agents you spoke with.....WELLLLLL if the Agents as well as herself were PROFESSIONAL in the beginning then we would not have gotten to that point...and I had to drop MORE "f" bombs on HER today and call customer service just to get my info transferred. This is absolutely the WORST State Farm Agency I have ever dealt with. I have had State Farm for 28 years and I have never had so many issues. The agent who set me up there initially was great but he left the agency about a month later. Literally every single person that I have dealt with since has been completely incompetent or very slow. For example, I called to get a copy of the dec page for my renter's insurance and had to call back three more times before it was sent. Then it did not have the proper information despite the fact that I had emailed it to the lady I spoke with. Then I called to change everything when I moved and the agent there took more than 3 weeks to get the policy changed. At my old Agency, that would have taken about 20 minutes. Then I called to remove automatic payments and told them that I wanted to pay each month online and they still charged me the next month and overdrew my old account.
