Office staff was very helpful and I was able to arrange an appointment for much quicker than I had anticipated.

I took my 14 year old step-daughter to him for a rash on her neck. He jumped in fast and was just hands all over. He took way too many opportunities to touch her where there was no rash. The guy was like, "Ooh! free lunch!" I asked him to back away. He didn't move back. I touched his hand and asked him again to move back from her. She was clearly freaked out. He made some excuses and left the room to his assistant. Mentioning this to others later, I got feedback that this might not be uncommon. I don't want to hurt a man's career unduly, but I know what I saw. read more

Dr. Jaremko was very nice, but I'm dissatisfied with his staff and the treatment I received. I came in for a wart removal, and the treatment didn't work... the wart came back within a few months even larger than before. I no longer live in the area, so I called the office to have them fax over my information to my new dermatologist. Turns out, they never sent the documents, and when I called a second time to request the fax, the receptionist got nasty with me when I voiced my frustration. Ultimately, the helpfulness of the doctor himself is what's most important, but a rude staff and ineffective treatment makes me reluctant to recommend going here. read more

Great Doc.. but office is in poor condition ....staff is weak... and very difficult to get an appointment..

I have been a patient at Dr. Jaremko's office for over ten years. I have a skin condition that is very painful and was referred to a specialist because they felt that there was nothing else for them to do. I went to a specialist that's over 4 hours from where I live and only see the provider once a year due to the distance. I was advised by the staff at Dr. Jaremko's that I could call if it was an emergency or if I needed treatment on short notice (again I've been going there since I was a teenager). I've had 3 extremely painful cysts in the last month or so and have called practically begging for an appointment. The receptionist just says, "we're actually all booked, our first opening is in two weeks." The most recent time I called I said I had called the week before and was hoping to see if there were any cancellations and he said to me "are you a patient here?" I've had personal conversations with this person at least 2 dozen times. I understand that they're busy, but I've have been going to this practice since before this person has worked there and he couldn't even remember who I was. This is a great example of the care that is provided at Dr. Jaremko's, impersonal, detached, disinterested, and overall, simply bad. I've only seen Dr. Jaremko, himself, maybe 5 times since I've been a patient. Each time I was extremely uncomfortable. In one visit, he had me stand in front of him while he was sitting down and put his hands on my hips, for no reason, and left them on there for a prolonged period of time. I was a minor at the time and felt extremely uncomfortable. Since that, I have specifically asked to see a different/female provider because I would feel uncomfortable with him seeing or touching any part of my body. If he wasn't one of the few dermatologists in this area, he would've been out of business many years ago because he's, frankly, rude, creepy, mean, condescending, and unhelpful. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. read more

I will never go back here! I had 3 cases of skin cancer previously, so I knew what it looks like. Knew this was the start of another episode. Saw the doc and his NA 3 months after I first called. Took that long to get an appointment. BY then the small spot on my ear was growing and starting to bleed. Told to apply a cream and return in 3 months. The cream did little as the bleeding slowed and the spot grew. Went back and was told it looks OK. Left and in a few days the larger spot began to bleed. Called and explained and did not get in for another 3 months. The spot was growing. The NA called the doc in and they took a scraping for a biopsy. Indeed it was cancer, so they made an appointment for me in Buffalo, NY to get the spot removed. 3 months later I received MOHS surgery and lost part of my ear. It took one year from my first notifying them to get the needed surgery!! From a small spot the size of a whitehead to cutting off part of the outer fold on my ear. Thanks for nothing doc! read more

I think so highly of Dr. Jaremko that while I would normally withhold a star due to his very impersonal young man at the front desk (who also normally answers the phone), I'm satisfied with just mentioning it and giving all 5 to Dr. J. I'm very particular about physicians - Dr. J fits the bill - he listens, he is able to do so and get to the point without making you feel rushed or that you can't fully explain your concerns. Outstanding follow up on his part for what was a very out of the ordinary problem and he continued to follow up until I assured him I had no more questions and was feeling better. That being said, some of his staff could use some customer service training. One thing patients do not need is a condescending, argumentative and at times downright rude experience when dealing with staff. It's not that hard to be kind and if it is, the two I'm thinking of should probably find a different line of work. That being said, I'm willing to deal with them should I need to see Dr. J again - he's a rare kind of Dr these days! read more
