They have music playing there as well. The inside is pretty huge, as it contains more than just snacks .... it has a restaurant, donut station, clothing and gifts, as well as the usual coffee and beverages and ice cream. Their gas prices are competitive (Exxon). But I wanted to make note of the service there. Becky had a great sense of humor, and she happened to be a manager elsewhere. I stayed around to enjoy the snack I purchased there, and I saw a lady who looked troubled. Becky rushed out of the Center and hugged the lady. That's customer service times 10! Talk about lead by example! Everyone here seems professional. From my experience today, I would come back!

We…read moretruckers need to stick together and BOYCOTT these truck stops that implement this Truck Parking Club nonsense. Don't stop for fuel, and don't eat here. I know of 3 other truck stops that fell for that Truck Parking Club sales pitch, implemented it, then lost so much business they went back to free parking. Miller Travel Ctr in Wellington, UT; Ute Mountain Travel Ctr in Cortes, CO; Garden Inn Travel Plaza north of St Joseph, MO are all FREE parking now. They let Truck Parking Club come in and install their paid parking signs then lost so much business they had to remove the signs. It's nice to see truckers sticking together and refusing to support businesses like these. It really does work!!

After fueling, you can easily pull forward and turn to exit without any tight turns. The area is spacious and makes getting gas much easier when traveling with a motorhome. It'll do in an emergency, but if you're headed north on I-35 there is a Buc-ee's a little less than 30 miles away in Temple. Saw many other options likely to be better after this place, also. Bathrooms here are clean enough to be usable, barely. No prices on the drinks. What's up with that? Has Shell gas, but the pumps are highly annoying. They have a reader for RFID/contactless credit cards, but it fusses at you if you try and use it. Seems like they crash or lock up, also. First one I tried was no bueno. Really, unless you're a trucker in need of a shower or something, no reason to stop here. The Exxon station a quarter mile or so further on the frontage road is probably a better bet if you're low on gas or need a bathroom.
