I always get a call the day before ,confirming my appointment. I never have to wait, sometimes I would come way to early, and if they were not busy I would get seen right away. And i have been seen by more than one doctor here in both buildings. They have valet parking available. Not sure how much it costs since i park on the street being a cheapass. It is a huge building with many doctors, so of course people will have different experiences, depending on which doctor you see.

I came into her office from being in a year and a half of chronic pain, unable to sit down without pain. Having zero range of motion with my low back and pelvis. I've seen close to a dozen very highly rated doctors from multiple disciplines including multiple surgeons, lumbar spine and hip specialists. Dr. Batra has an incomprehensible understanding of the human body - specifically in my case the pelvis and spine - and I am living proof that one conversation with her can absolutely change your life for the better if you're willing to leave your ego at the door, listen to her - because she knows more than you, and do exactly what she tells you to do because it will 100% get you to where you want to go. When I saw Shivani I had spent over $7K on physical therapists, multiple epidural steroid injections, was in the beginning process of doing a nerve block procedure and facet joint injections, and was planning on putting myself into severe debt to get PRP, prolotherapy injections, and Stem Cells. I came into Shivani's office with several x-rays and MRIs, and gave her my 20 minute spiel of what I though was wrong - based on my previous appointments, and close to a thousand hours of research about what could be causing my never-ending pain. I was beyond desperate. I told her I likely had a "minor disc bulge in L4-L5 S1, interspinous ligament sprain that never healed, iliolumbar ligament sprain that never healed, posteriorly rotated ilium that's now back in alignment but I'm not sure because I'm still in constant pain" along with several other things that I was hoping for confirmation for. She took a look at my range of motion, or lack thereof, and my MRIs/imaging, and looked me in the eye and told me what I needed to hear. In a nutshell, I had developed severe compensatory movement patterns, a complete lack of strength and range of motion, and everything was healed, "This is gonna be tough for you to hear, you ready? There's nothing wrong with you!" At this point in my injury I didn't object whatsoever, I listened to everything she had to say, which was her much needed tough love telling me how I'm in pain because I have avoided every single thing my spine and pelvis needs for it to be able to work properly. That checked out, after I had only "been able" to stand up and lay down - no sitting - for over a year and a half since my injury. My pain was very very real, as someone who is reading this can understand. What I needed was the guidance from one of the best doctors who's ever walked the earth, to tell me what was up, and that's what I got from my appointment with her. 1 appointment, a 45 minute visit, changed my life forever after 14,000 hours of chronic pain. Dr. Shivani Batra sent me to her favorite Spine PT, Shivani Patel at Elevate Physical Therapy, and told me to go to her for 6-8 weeks and then come back and let me know how it goes. I listened and asked pending questions I had, did EXACTLY what she told me to do (which included sitting and not being tense because my spine needed to be used properly), and got better. 5 months later I'm now back to the things I love - Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling multiple times a week, Snowboarding, running, and I'm typing this sitting down with no problem whatsoever. If you have a complex pelvic/spine injury and the answer that you're getting from field leading doctors isn't the answer you're getting, get an MRI, book a visit with her, and do whatever you have to do to get into her door because she will 100% change your life.
