As I mentioned, I had no intention of staying too long, but luckily, I carry a book with me, so when the mood strikes, as it did then, I indulged in some reading to compliment my coffee and cake. What an enjoyable afternoon that was. The waitstaff were very nice and had great customer service skills. They are a good balance of chatty and professional. There was no rush of getting me out the door, I felt safe and they didn't seem to mind one bit. As I sipped the last of my second coffee, I realised almost an hour has gone by. It's been a while since I've sat in a cafe reading and I'm glad to report, this cafe makes for a good place to get back into it.

We had to wait a small amount of time before someone emerged from out the back but after that the service was friendly and fast. The coffee was creamy and came with a double shot. Nice! While I was waiting, I got the chance to browse the other bits and pieces for sale. They have a small range of speciality ingredients like spices, oil and mustard.
