Everyone is very friendly from the time you walk in. You place your order and pay. You go select your favorite soft drink or tea. They take your meal to your table promptly. Everything is delicious. I recommend the Manager's Muffaletta with turkey, with a cup of broccoli cheese soup, and baked chips. There's complimentary ice cream in a cup or cone. The staff checks on you throughout your meal. It had been a long time since I'd walked into a Jason's Deli. This location was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and the service was fast. The sandwiches were pretty good. We did order baked chips, it seemed I got the last of the bag, so instead of chips, I got more crumbs and less chips. I ended up leaving most of them because they were unappetizing. First time here but have visited many other locations. This one is run a little differently. I ordered the salad bar and sandwich. I couldn't find any napkins anywhere in the restaurant and learned they are behind the counter and you have to go ask for extras. A big flag for me. If you want small plate for the adders on salad you have to ask too. I noticed the salad bar was not replenished but I did notice the cold containers sitting on the side as if it was going to be replenished soon. FOOD POISONING Is real : I Visited this restaurant 11-1-23 and I got EXTREME FOOD POISONING. This was the only place I ate this day. I had the Italian sandwich's and within 2 hours I started to get EXTREME stomach pains and cramps not to mention lower back paid. About 6 hours later I started to throw up and eventually I had to go to the ER .. It was the worst pain I have felt in an extreme long time. Here for a week on business and have been struggling to find healthy food. Popped in to Jason's Deli on two occasions for lunch over the week. First time I had the spinach wrap with no cheese with a side of blue tort chips. Pretty decent wrap with plenty of raw spinach and mushrooms. Guacamole kept the sandwich from being dry. Salsa was above average and had a really good kick. Next lunch I tried the salad bar. Plenty of fresh options and you can obviously eat all you like. I liked that they had decent quality balsamic vinegar and olive oil as a dressing option. Cashiers on both occasions were very polite and my colleague's sandwich arrived quickly. There is an option to deliver to nearby hotels but it has to be a $20 minimum order and they charge $5. read more

I went in at a Wednesday evening at 5:10. They were training someone at the register, so the line was longer then it should have been. I ordered something incredibly easy, Tomato soup and grilled cheese. The grilled cheeses came to me completely cold. Like it had been made and was sitting around, ridiculously cold. This really made me wonder what else was happening with food prep on the line. I asked the manager to make me a warm one ...it truly took about 15+ mins to get. I had already finished my soup. It's not that all this happened. It was that there is a huge fail for hospitality at this location. Some basic training would have stop this trip to bitchland in Yelp. Other then dropping the sandwich down, but apologizing or seeing that the soup I had was half eaten because it was cold as I waited for my sandwich. Some true opportunities for training, especially the manager in charge. Easily the manager should have offered to bring more soup Or some Togo .... I gave them a 2 because it wasn't all horrible but the district manager needs to Seize the opportunity and get the evening manager some basic hospitality training. Jasons Deli Brownsville TX Revisted Want to feel like you're being ignored and your precious time mean s**t to someone else! Well do I have the place for you! Jasons Deli is part of a chain that treasures itself on healthier than Subway type sandwiches and other salad stuff, for all the want to get healthy but not try to hard types. Truthfully their food is decent, however it keeps messing up in the most important department SERVICE! Not only did I wait twenty minutes for a simple meal, they decided it was in their best interest to keep my meal waiting and getting cold while they provided meals to other customers who not only arrived later than I did but who had also ordered after I had and didn't even have to wait that long to be served and rushed out. Typically I don't mind the wait but when they simply ignore you and are as negligent as they were one would hope none of these people become parents. I don't care to return to this place their team work is laughable and their management of food to customer is down right pathetic. While waiting for my meal I saw two employees chatting it up with other employees, another employee was down right lost, and the other one was attempting to not give me eye contact because (here's the kicker) she gave my food to someone else just to rush them out the door due to pure convenience. If you want to be more ignored than your elderly relative at a nursing home I'd suggest you come here, they'll forget about you like alzheimers, you might as well not even be there. read more

For a national chain, you really can't do much better than Jason's Deli. They offer great sandwiches at a great price with a high quality salad bar that can't be beat. They also have great soups as well. I highly recommend. Furthermore, it's a great place to pick up sandwiches for a sports team and they often will give you better prices for a team. read more

Jason's is usually a solid go to for healthy quick meals but NOT at this store location. I ordered a chicken club salad that tasted like it should have been thrown away last week. My ranch dressing was warm, runny and extremely unappetizing. The chicken in the chicken chili was mushy and was cut in huge awkward chunks, not shredded like in previous soups. I went by Jason's Deli today to pick up an afterschool meal for my son, and ordered the Grilled Portabella Wrapini. I was shocked by the size of the sandwich...it was TINY and had, if I exaggerate, half of a portabella mushroom in it. It came with a bag of Lay's chips (was given no choice) and a puny quarter of a pickle. The cost? $6.79 + tax...I don't think I got my money's worth. I have been to Jason's Deli on other occasions and the portions have been adequate (never generous), but after this experience I will not be returning! read more

They play the christian radio station over the PA system and personally, I don't appreciate having anything religious pushed on me while I'm eating my overpriced salad. Terrible experience today. We had to wait 30 minutes to get our sandwiches. After we waited almost 20 minutes the people next to us who had been there 5 minutes got there orde. We went to the front and ask about our order. They said that since we had an order for the special, the Johnny Cashew Pork Sandwitch, it took a long time to make and we would have to wait. We ask if we could at least have the kids food, which we saw setting there getting cold. They said"no." Seven minutes later they brought out the kids order and 2 half sandwiches without the soup. After another 7 minutes I went back to the front and they finally agreed to let us have the rest of the Order, which was setting there. Going to a place like Jason's for fast service then waiting a half hour for the food and being treated poorly in the meantime makes for a BAD experience. read more
