I was at Jason's for dollar days. I found that the Pappy Van Winkle 12 year Lot B was listed as $131.99 on the website. I was about to buy the bottle and saw that the price was $899.99 at ring up and the guy was about to sell it to me for that price. when I showed the guy that it was listed at $131.99 the guy called someone and was on the phone for 10 minutes. He then told me that someone had bought the bottle online right before me and he couldn't sell it to me. I then looked it up a few minutes later and it was listed at $899.99 on the website. The associate that rang me up lied to me and then had someone buy it and then they relisted it. mind you this was the last bottle they had. My family will no longer be giving Jason's our custom. read more

Through door dash they report orders completed when they are not delivered. Upon calling the store they say its a glitch in door dash system...this is not true. Upon inquiry, they said for me to use another vender if I am unhappy with their service. Will do. Buyer beware...order from them if you are patient and willing to wait well over an hour for your order. Good luck! read more

We found this jewel after being disappointed with the liquor store, Village Green Spirit Shop. We were pleasantly greeted and asked if we were looking for a specific drink. The employees are pleasant. Sabrina specifically stands out, she was very friendly and helpful! She was also very knowledgeable about the various drinks they sell. The drink selection is out of this world! They sell drinks I've never heard of or seen! If you're looking for unique beers, vodka, whisky in various sizes look no further. Jason's has all types of juices, waters, gadgets, candy, snacks, and as well. The service was was so good we came back on Sunday and Sabrina remembered us! She also gave us some great tips! It's very unfortunate that establishments like these still linger. Being a mixed race man with apparently too much melanin was justifiable reason for being followed throughout the store while I was shopping for a 6 pack of Magic Hat #9. The glares from the liquor stockers and cashier was enough to let me know that POC are not welcomed here. Just wanted to warn other minorities and this place doesn't accept people like us. Quick tip: Right across the street is another liquor store, and I've not had any negative experiences there, or any other liquor establishment around the area, just this one. read more

Disappointed in Jason's liquors today. They cheated me for the first time today. Two small bottles in a pack were 5.49. So today they ripped one out of the two pack and charged me 5.49 for one instead of two. They knew I liked this wine and did this on purpose. I will be buying elsewhere. Definitely the place to go, if you're looking gor that hard to find bottle of wine. I'm not a woman connoisseur, but it seemed like this place had pretty much everything. There was also at least one person walking the floor willing to answer questions. The beer and liquor selections appeared to be pretty normal. However the prices were very competitive, if not better than other places in the area. That's always a plus!! read more

Good selection - terrible service. Jason's has always had good selection but after todays pathetic experience I'm going elsewhere from now on. Went today to pick up a specific kosher wine. The shelf price sticker said $17.99 so when it rang as $26 I asked the lady at the register to check the price. Another employee took a picture of the shelf showing $19.99. This is one huge liquor store, let me tell you. They have nearly everything you could possibly hope to find here - from local brews and IPAs to brand-name spirits, and even some really fancy-pants wines; we're talking hundreds and hundreds of dollars a bottle wine. They might have cheap stuff like Mad Dog, but I sure didn't see it here. Staff was really pleasant and tried hard to find me the ingredients for a "lost" drink recipe. They weren't successful, but they really knocked themselves out trying, so I have to give them LOTS of cred for that. Prices were actually pretty good. We apparently hit a sale on Captain Morgan rums, so we ended up with a GINORMOUS bottle of it - we probably won't need any more rum for the rest of the decade. Other items were decent to fairly priced. They had a lot of ingredients for making drinks as well, such as bitters and grenadine - that was nice to see. The selection, though, is what's going to win you over here. Really, they have more items than any other liquor store I've seen (or reviewed here - sorry, Cranbrook Liquors, I'm looking at you). When we need to replenish our bar (not that we will have to any time soon), we're coming back here. If you're in the Ellicott City area, this is your one-stop shop. Hell, it's worth a drive from the city and back. read more

Came here to eat gimbap next door. Had a dessert in the next shop. Needed a bottle of red wine for dinner and wanted to check out there Asian Liq section as well. Haven't tried the sake I bought yet. But this cute guy asked if I needed help and not being an expert on red wine. Despite my bartending background. I told him I wanted a sweet red. He recommended Roscato and another I forgot , after I said normally drink moscato. Roscato to my surprise is a bubbly blush u drink cold. This by far is the best red wine I have ever tasted- totally my taste!!!! thanks soooo much- I will def come back here if in the neighborhood!! So let me start by saying that I rarely leave negative reviews, however after today's experience of being followed around the l store and overall crappy customer service this review is warranted. So I walked into the store and headed to the refrigerated beer isle and noticed this guy walk up next to me, okay no problem until as I continued to shop and walk around the store this same guy was in every aisle I was in. He picked nothing up but kept looking at me. I didn't have a purse or bag, only a wallet and cell phone in my hand so I'm not sure where he thought I was going to stash a bottle of liquor. After picking up my items, I went to the register only to apparently interrupt the conversation that the two women behind the counter were having. They have a decent craft beer selection, but it's over priced and the staff is nothing to write home about. If you're there and see a beer or wine you like, write it down, ride 2 minutes down the road to Pine Orchard and see if they sell it. If not, ask them to order it. Not only will you save a couple bucks per bottle/6pk but they also have a 10% beer/20% wine coupon that never expires. I just can't support businesses that gouge their customers wallet. read more

Very well stocked store with knowledgable and helpful staff. I am luckily within walking distance and I always find great sales on nice bottles of wine whenever I drop in. It is also my 'go to' store when I am looking for an atypical craft beer. Their customer service is also top notch. Pretty large beer selection. Also very good spirits selection. I don't drink wine but there appeared to be a large selection of wine also. Prices are good, as you would expect from a large retailer. This is my "go-to" liquor store because of selection. Lot's of reviews here talk about higher prices, but it depends on what you are buying. Some brands are cheaper than competing stores. Their hours are far better than most other stores in the area for sure (open at 9AM on Sundays). I only have two small issues with this place. If your credit cards are the "chip" variety, this store can't take them, and even with swipe cards their system is extremely clunky compared with the competition. And while parking is mostly adequate, it's difficult to get in and out of the small lot, especially during rush hour, peak seasons, or when there is construction, so count on an extra few minutes to get in and out.
