The main restaurant closes at midnight, but the drive through is open 24/7. Out of the three McDonald's that I tried while I was here for work, this is easily the best one...it's probably because they get the most business with EIU being next door. I kinda wonder what happens after midnight though for the kids who don't have cars and want McDonald's. Do they just walk through the drive through? On top of that, both the DoorDash driver and the manager gave me misleading information about the status of my order throughout the process. While I was calling the manager about the delay, my friend happened to be at the restaurant getting food around the same time. My friend told me that the manager was giving out free food, including fries and burgers, while I was still waiting hours for my paid order. I found this especially frustrating considering that the manager told me over the phone that he was personally making my order and making sure it was given directly to my DoorDash driver. When my order finally arrived, the food was in unacceptable condition. My nuggets were completely cold, and I was missing three nuggets. My McChicken was extremely deformed, and both of my large fries were rock-solid and freezing cold. To make matters worse, none of the sauces I ordered were included. Considering the manager specifically told me he was personally making sure my order was prepared and handed to the driver, I find it hard to believe that the missing sauces were an accident. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. Waiting nearly two and a half hours is unacceptable on its own, but receiving cold, incomplete, and poorly prepared food after that wait along with being given misleading information made the entire experience even worse.
