We'be been good customers until we sold our home and had a seizable refund coming. For some reason that's when they decided to dodge all followup calls from us and anytime I spoke to an office person (Devin) I was lied to. It's been several weeks now and I called to demand an overnight check or direct deposit and was told oh, it's in the refund department. So, for weeks we've been lied to that the check was mailed long before and telling us the call every few days and check our mailbox everyday. I told the office (Devin) I would come pick it up and asked the address to pick it up. Apparently, giving and address is a very difficult task for them. When I finally got the correct office address I see it's my agents office! Seriously. It's one large room where everyone can see each other. No need to send messages or lie about someone in meetings all day. They're all sitting in one room looking at each other. We were going to use them for our new home being built but I wouldn't use them to insure a doghouse.

Up here in NW Houston, you will find some medical stuff and shops and salons, some tax offices and insurance offices, and some buildings that have closed up and shuttered and moved out, as well as some other stuff that clings to life and does just enough business to survive. This is the broker of an insured driver that HIT my car in MY Driveway. Got a claim number…read morerelatively easily and they scheduled my YUKON DENALI for repairs within 2 days. They also sent the rental car confirmation and told us to take the car into the shop we chose. Went to pickup the rental car and was advised that ALLSTATE will not pay the rental car place as it would be reimbursement only. THAT entails a $300 deposit and excess fees that I am responsible for. What they want to pay is for a compact car-which is not even remotely CLOSE to what i normally drive and yet still reimburse me not pay Enterprise directly. Had THEIR INSURED not ran his car into MY DRIVEWAY and HIT MY CAR this would not have been an issue. This is ridiculous. And Enterprise says this is not just me it is all of ALLSTATE that does this. From ALLSTATEs website: You can typically choose where to rent a vehicle, but some insurers partner with specific rental car companies. If you rent a vehicle from a company that has an agreement with your insurer, the rental car company may bill the insurance company directly, helping prevent you from paying out of pocket. If your rental company is not in your auto insurance company's network, you'll likely need to pay upfront for the rental car and then request reimbursement from your insurer. This would lead me to believe that Allstate does not have an agreement with any rental car companies and are continuing to "reimburse" people who have filed a claim against their company. Rep said several times that they had accepted liability yet here I am without a vehicle at no fault of my own.
