Steve's Elvis impression was outstanding, and I especially loved all the little Elvis quirks, mannerisms, expressions, and personality that made the performance so much fun to watch. It wasn't just an Elvis impression--it felt like Elvis had walked right into the room! The chemistry between Steve and Brandon was wonderful, and you could really see how much they enjoy entertaining people. They brought so much energy, humor, and heart to the evening. Being able to share this experience with my grandpa on his 80th birthday made the night even more special. It's a memory I'll definitely cherish, and I'm so glad we got to celebrate such an important milestone with a show this entertaining. My grandpa absolutely loved it!!! Thank you. This particular show at the Access Showroom at the Alainte Hotel and Casino was a combination of both regarding music. This show included dancers, backup singers, and 3 piece brass section along with the guitar, bass, precussions that performed a great combination of different music with dancing, lights, background videos/photos and even a few special guests. The group takes classic Las Vegas songs and songs from entertainers of the 1950s and puts them to a rock beat. For the most part, tempo remains. It's just a different take on these classic songs--in this case, they become rock songs. They do songs from the Rat Pack, Elvis, Wayne Newton, the Everly Brothers and more. During some of the numbers, they have some dancers who add to the show. As for the band, they are tremendous. The brass section, the drummer, the bassist, Chris Nichols, and the leader, Michael Shapiro are all vary talented. When I did realize what the show was going to be, I thought that I wouldn't like it. Sort of desecrating classics. I changed my mind at the show. It is high energy and it's very entertaining. I celebrate living in Las Vegas and this show brought out many smiles on my part.

For me, the humor felt classic and entertaining rather than harsh or negative. It was a real treat to see him perform live and be reminded of the style of late-night entertainment from years past. His performance had a nostalgic quality that made the evening especially memorable. Rich Little brought back wonderful memories with his authentic impersonations and engaging stage presence. I'm very glad I had the chance to see him still performing live. My thanks to the production staff and hosts for putting together such an enjoyable show. Once at the Orpheum in San Francisco in 2001 and twice at the California Musical Theatre in 2005 and 2012! Great show and funny story. The show is nothing about the band at all. I am familiar with the songs from ABba and I thought it was clever to produce a musical based on the songs and tell an original story. It is a feel-good musical featuring more than 20 classic ABBA hits you may or may not be familiar with, including "Dancing Queen", "S.O.S." "Mamma Mia", "Take a Chance on Me", Chiquitita", "The Name of the Game", "Winner Take It All", "Money, Money, Money" and "Does Your Mother Know". The cast was great... I was going to wait for an actual ABBA fan to write their 5 star review but it has been 3 weeks…read moresince the show started and people need to be informed dammit!! My opinion comes off almost like a "significant other that gets dragged to the show" but my wife is not an ABBA fan. I got free tickets through work. Also..... - I generally despise Broadway shows. "Rock of Ages" makes me wretch. - Never hearing "Dancing Queen" again would be a gift. - Not familiar with the "Mamma Mia!" story. The will call booth for Tropicana was a total mess. It was 50 people deep 30 minutes before the show. Definitely get there as early as you can to pick up tickets. We ended up missing the first 15 minutes of the show because of it. Tropicana either needs to employ more people or have an attendant weed out the people in line who are there to pick up or purchase tickets. As we walked in, the usher didn't show us to our seats. She just said "Sit anywhere! The show is about to go on again!". Ummm..okay. So I did what any person would do and took the first 2 seats closest to the stage. The place was about 70% full and it took us about 20 minutes to figure out what was going on in the story. All the performers seemed perfect for their roles and the singing was well done. The stage set was pretty basic but you were able to get the idea. I was most impressed with the live band behind the scenes. Some of the transitions were tricky and I wished I had a backstage TV a la Le Reve to see them jamming out to "Money, Money, Money" or the almost made for a musical "The Winner Takes It All". Tropicana did a great job refurbishing the theater. The makeover looks terrific. The bar upfront shouldn't serve wine in actual glasses since I heard a couple of them shatter during the show which was distracting. There was also 20 minute intermission midway through. If you love ABBA, I see no reason why you wouldn't love this show. I observed many attendees clapping along, getting pretty animated during some scenes and even reciting lines. And if you're being dragged to the show against your will by that special someone in your life..bring a flask?
