This place is run by the modern day equivalent of slum lords. Yes - the rent may seem to be perhaps 5-10% cheaper than other places only because they will throw in free phone service - but believe me ----- this place provide no service and gouges you for everything else. When you come to look at the offices - look carefully at the furniture. Everything was bought used and is falling apart. Its garbage. The facility construction was done by inexperienced contractors. Everything is falling apart - even in the new centers. In my place, the kitchen cabinets actually fell off the wall one day. There are 1 or 2 staff to run the entire facility and it is not nearly enough. Reception is often empty. The floors are swept to look clean, but take a look at the kitchens - disgusting. They are never cleaned. AND - dont miss the bathrooms. Totally disgusting ! I had a client who said they wouldnt come back because they were so bad. Toilets are stuffed up every day. The place stinks. And they ration toilet paper. If you are there after 2 or 3pm, there will be none left for the day and it is not replaced. If you are late with your rent by 2 days (they give you a 1 day grace), they will turn off your phones and internet and not let you enter the office. Their agreement says they can seize your property and hold it as collateral if you are late with rent. Free coffee? HA. There is a $19 Mr. Coffee that is usually turned off, but you can bring your own coffee and make it yourself if you like. Lastly, the offices are NEVER cleaned. Only the public hallways are. There is NO service. I repeat. NONE. And everything is broken, and when fixed, breaks again within a week. Internet outages, phones down, messengers wandering around because of a lack of recpetionist. You are on your own. Dont say you havent been warned about this place. Disgusting, and in the end, probably the most expensive shared office in NY because of everything you have to do on your own and pay for separately. It's a slum lord philosophy. Nice when they rent to you. They tell you wonderful things. After you are in, nothing works, they dont return phone calls, nothing gets fixed, and the extra charges add up. And if you are late by 1 day, then you will hear from them with angry threats that they are taking your property if they dont have a check the next day. Tell them your clients paid you late this month, they will tell you to borrow money from your friends or your property is gone. I know what a slum lord is. I grew up in the Bronx. These guys are slum lords. Would give it zero stars, but the system will not let you. read more

Jay Suites was the first place we looked for office space. Within 5 minutes we had decided to sign the lease. They have treated us with so much kindness and always eager to lend a helping hand. The staff is on point, they address all matters with urgency, and the working environment is happy. The terrace is amazing with a spectacular view of the Empire State Building. The kitchen area is always clean and well stocked, the conference room is always available (for whenever I need to book it). If there's ever any issue, the owners address is immediately. I once had a problem with wifi, and Juda, one of the owners, came to my office, and helped me resolve the issues. He's so hands on, just like all the staff. I feel truly blessed to have found this gem of an office space. And it's very true. Jay Suites is second home that I can focus on fundraising to help children in need. I can't compare with any other office space, but for our needs, this has been the best choice. AND the office furniture is great. It's modern and functional. We were able to save so much money because the office comes fully furnished with brand new furniture. I didn't know this when we signed the lease. It was like, "Surprise! First off, this review is coming from someone who has been (and current is) a Jay Suites tenant for 3+ years and at three different locations in New York City. We most likely will continue to be a tenant inas our company enjoys the ease of transitioning into this kind of office space and enjoy the furnished office setup that they have to offer. The staff at 1370 Broadway is simply amazing. The center managers have been professional and extremely helpful. Along with superb office staff in. it'll be hard to find another hardworking group who is as flawless in their ability to make things simple for the tenants. My company was very fortunate to have a window view in one of our offices which featured a beautiful view of Broadway. You certainly pay premium prices for a view, but it is hard to beat the views and amenities offered here. They have client appreciation days every so often with plenty of food and drink and sometimes separately bring people to give short massages. They have a large refrigerator and freezer for usage. They also have dishes/utensils for usage and run the dishwasher constantly on your behalf. If you're looking for this kind of furnished setup, make sure to consider their 1370 Broadway location. read more

Once you do here's what you can expect; POOR / CROOKED MANAGEMENT, DIRTY KITCHEN, SMELLY BATHROOMS, POORLY CLEANED CONFERENCE ROOMS, MISSING RECEPTIONIST (CLIENTS CAN WALK DIRECTLY IN AND WANDER AROUND ENTIRE AREA). An array of hidden charges and 1 maintenance man (probably undocumented) to mop floors at all their facilities. This summer one of their longest tenants was robbed of all their computer equipment, but the ironic part is the "Missing Receptionist" assisted the robbers by opening the office door for them and not questioning them while they leave using freight elevator!....Amazing!!!!!!!!!! Russ who manages the location easily identified our specific needs in choosing the right office. The All Inclusive monthly rate makes life easier for my business. We went with the Penn Station because of its quick commute for our clients coming in from Long Island and proximity to all subway lines. This particular location's conference room and lobby area are kept pristine. The design of the space and the lobby of the building are impressive to clients that we have in for meetings. Started as a "Virtual Client," wound up moving in to a two person office for my practice. I was so impressed with the facilities and the team. This is a family run business. I've had experiences ranging from slightly weird to horribly bad with virtual agreements at these other super-huge, McDonald's-like facilities. The ones that have like five thousand locations worldwide. Not sure why Jay Suites was such a breath of fresh air, but according to the owner - who you actually regularly SEE on the premises! When it comes to forwarding mail, booking a meeting room for us and our CEO, and answering our calls service is impeccable. They even have Starbucks in the pantry these days.
